Some past versions of myself ago I thought I looked horrendous in this picture. Now I realize I was a beautiful creature. I had all the love I needed and more. Yet I still felt like I was being buried every time I had to face life.

Maybe things will get harder from here. But that’s life. We live, we cry, we laugh, we feel every emotion possible, and sometimes we still suffer.

The point isn’t that life is always kind. The point is that we keep going through it and learn to love the life we’re given, even when circumstances make it easier to hate it.
