I have always enjoyed creating content because i genuinely love the game and the lovely community. My goal has always been to share that passion through art that brings excitement and enjoyment to fellow players.

I was deeply disappointed by the recent announcement. Many players were eagerly looking forward to valko, and the sudden decision has left a large part of the community feeling disheartened. Seeing so many passionate players affected by this has also been difficult for me as a creator, I sincerely hope it gets resolved soon. I truly want to continue creating content that brings positivity.

Heatwave Recipe Recommendations

The heat’s been brutal this summer but we still gotta eat! If you’re like me, heat might suppress your appetite, and the last thing any of us want is to sweat over a hot stove and oven when it’s already boiling outside. Here are some of my favorite hot-weather recipes to keep hydrated and fed with when the weather is unbearable! (All recipes should be un-paywalled).

NYT’s best gazpacho (lives up to its name!!)

Persian cold cucumber soup (if you like tzatziki you will like this!)

Eric Kim’s cold noodles with tomato (infinitely riffable Korean flavor profile — for a creamier and less brothy take, try these cold sesame noodles too)

Vietnamese chicken and herb salad (this is an excellent time to get a rotisserie chicken so you don’t have to turn the oven on)

Radish sandwiches with butter and salt (and in a similar vein, if you dig this flavor combo you should try this Polish cottage cheese dip on some good rye bread or even crackers)

It’s still a little early in the season, but you can never go wrong with a BLT (or, if you don’t eat bacon, try this tomato furikake sandwich in its place)

Infinite iterations of pasta salad! You can use anything you got but here is a template I like.

Assorted dense bean salads. This back pocket canned salad is a weird combo of jarred ingredients but it slaps, this hoagie-inspired one is super satisfying, and cowboy caviar is a classic for a reason.

Poke bowls! Canned tuna mixed with some kewpie mayo and sriracha is a budget-friendly riff on the usual ahi and makes everything taste like a spicy tuna roll, but use whatever proteins you like, this is more of a loose template.

If you can buy pre cooked or canned beets at the store, chłodnik (beet yogurt soup) is a great choice. You can leave out the radishes if you can’t get them.

I also love sardines on fresh bread and butter with assorted vegetables. Buy the fanciest canned sardines you can afford but even regular ones are pretty good. Plus, very healthy!

I saw this on instagram today. No clear source so I’d still consider it speculation but the last point in particular caught my eye. It immediately made me think of when foreign countries paid people on social media to start discourse to swing elections.

What if competitors or other entities saw Chinese fan’s dissatisfaction with valkos design (he’s not the typical design for a Chinese male lead, which we all know) and other criticisms about the game and started looking for other points they could latch onto? The 0731 reference had been up since April. A Chinese fan even told me yesterday on rednote that only after valkos release did people look back at the world underneath stories. But who is “people”? Regular fans or people trying to find something they could use to start a larger problem? the bath in the pot reference really sounds to me at least like the kind of thing someone could come up with and say and others who are already upset at the company would believe it.

If ill -intentioned entities found these points to feed the fire, and then kept pouring more oil on it…. I feel like I could see how this might have spiraled into the international phenomenon it is right now. Given the separation between Chinese and global social media and the language barrier, even posts coming off as helpful translations can help feed the fires on both sides, turning fans against each other.

Don’t get me wrong, this isn’t me saying we all need to rush back to infold. No matter what, they handled this atrociously, they could have delayed release, worked through this, come up with more sensible responses.

We should all wait for official updates. Don’t act rashly on hearsay. Don’t spend money with them, don’t play, keep the pressure up (politely). But I thought this was interesting and wanted to share this with my tumblr hunter gals. Food for thought.

If you truly want something to change, delete the game and dont interact with infolds posts, dont buy anything from them. If you still spend money or give views to them regardless, it'll show just how easy it is for people to give them money, no matter what.

This is a female focused game, if they see that women are still giving money to them even when their actions suck, itll show that there is no limit to how low they can go. It shows that all it takes is a crumb for people to grovel at their feet.

So please, uninstall the game, dont spend money and make infold understand that we are tired of their actions and using fans as a way to garner money

So I wasn’t going to post anything but I thought this was funny for some reason

People have been boycotting and some just being completely done. There was a thing on my feed encouraging people to unfollow the Love and Deepspace insta account so they get below 1 million followers and show their displeasure over the Valko cancellation.

Well they succeeded.

They succeeded greatly. And it just keeps going down.

For context, this shows a 16,000 drop in followers in less than 12 hours.

It brings me hope, even though this is a small thing that probably means nothing on its own, but to me it shows that a community is following through on what they said they would do and coming together.

It’s amusing to see how fast these numbers dropped and maybe, just maybe, if we (the community in general) work on everything we’re talking about doing, Infold will notice and be forced to do damage control.

Just want to encourage folks in the lads community to speak up. If this bothers you, unfollow, uninstall (even if it’s temporary!), email them, don’t purchase anything… it was so unethical for them to do this in the first place. We shouldn’t just roll over and let them do this.

Be respectful though I heard ppl in China were sending death threats?? It’s always about vote with your dollar and presence
