I want people to understand something about Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. This movie is not gonna be Minus One. Of course it's not gonna be Minus One. This movie knows what it wants to be: a big budget Showa film with sprinklings of Shonen anime.

t's not gonna top Minus One, I don't think ANY modern Godzilla movie is gonna top it. This is just a movie where you're gonna watch Godzilla and King Kong battle to save both Earth and the Hollow Earth from an evil King Louie and his army of giant orangutans.

We had our fill of the high-art Godzilla with Minus One, now, I just wanna watch a movie where a giant lizard and giant gorilla punch crap.
