Court of Belphegor

Known as Pan by the Greeks, Khnum by the Egyptians and the Androgyne Baphomet by the Knights Templar. Belphegor was struck onto earth and doomed to wander the lands of man, giving his occult knowledge to the people who he deemed worthy or impressed him in any way.

Rumours say that Belphegor was the one who gave the Knights Templar the power and position that eventually rivalled the catholic church itself, prompting the latter to completely cleanse the Templars from existence.

After these events Belphegor went into hiding, and kept offering his knowledge to those who were ambitious enough to search his secret court and he deemed worthy. And thus, Belphegor was among the few fallen angels who were responsible for the enlightenment, striking a fatal blow to the church who hunted him down like an animal.

Depicting Satan, visiting Genghis Khan like he did with Jesus Christ and promising him the world. Genghis Khan accept, thus making him the greatest conqueror in human history.

Only two worthy men i visited, one in Nazareth, and the other one is you, Temujin, conqueror of Mongolia.” The Devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.” Feeling presence greater than Temujin knew he was capable to either fight or achieve on his own, he knelt befor the fallen angel, and looked upwards. The Devils grin broadened. “Arise, chosen one. Arise as Genghis Khan, and make the world tremble!”

16th century, Bulgaria

The Scythians have reduced been reduced from mighty steppe warriors to small secluded tribes, living in mountains, swamps and forests. While some tribes have vanished from history, a few have found ancient powers where they roamed. One of these tribes was the Azure Horde. They settled in the Bulgar forests, who was, unbeknownst to them home to the Fallen Angel Artemis. She promised them, as any other Grigori, power in return for servitude. Wanting to regain their ancient dominance in the world, the Azure horde accepted. centuries passed, the forest intermingled with the Scythians; cordycepts grew from their limbs, granting them strength and resilience. Only the healthy and the strong could survive such a gift at old age without getting consumed by it.

Contemplating his heritage, Gideon knelt down besides an ancient Scythian statue, once a pillar of steppe-nomad civilisation, now overgrown with trees, fungus and decay. He looked at his palm and saw the mark Artemis gave him since birth. A white rose, for the goddess ’ chosen warrior. Gideon was about to be crowned king of the Azure Horde, and bring glory again to Scythians. Under the burden of his blessing he felt weak, but still, he could not wait to ride again, out of the forests, into the fire.
