I'm a huge Ryan Ross fan... also fall out boy is my favorite band and I LOVE cartoons (especially adventure time). an important thing about me is that I will never shut up about the master and the doctor. I draw mostly doctor who and good omens or red dead redemption stuff cause they're the things that never get off my head rn but I'm into a lot of stuff so occasionally you could see anything really. I made these before I started the book fyi, so I didn't know the academy uniform was dark (but then again I made the uniforms up anyway cause I was lazy)
this is my Koschei design!! my son, my baby boy... (i love him)
i imagine his hair is jet black with light waves of purple weaved in it, but from afar/if you arent paying attention it looks all black. his eyes are bright blue with flecks of light blue/pink... I headcanon that for some reason time lord eyes start out bright and get dimmer as their life/regen goes on. idk why but yeah.
on the left is my original (colored) sketch and the right is a lineless, more cleaned up version. i think im missing something in the eyes I had in the sketch but ill fix it at some point.
this is theta. everyone boo him /j (nah he's fine. just not Koschei lol)
as Theta's eyes are not blue, nor is his hair blonde/curly, I'd like to ask everyone to come to my burning at the stake /j
theta has a white streak in his hair that i'd like to imagine comes from fucking up some sort of experiment. at first its on accident but then he just repeats the messup cause it looks cool to him or smthn. he also has freckles, because I like giving characters freckles :)

OKAY so im gonna talk about Koschei's inspirations first.. I drew a lot from TSoD’s Koschei(?) flashbacks with the hair swoops on the side that cover his ears along with the bright blue eyes. I also took inspiration from the Kid!Master that I found while surfing the wiki who has his atrocious mushroom haircut... I couldn't give koschei one that bad but I did make it all be pretty much the same level across for the bangs similar to Kid!Master's
koschei was also influenced by Delgado as thats the master im watching rn. no specifics, but vibes and the like :)
also also i did take inspo from some old gacha crying child (BV/dave/evan/chris from FNAF) designs that were foggy in my memory which we will NOT be talking about, okay?? okay. (dont take me back...)
next up is theta, cause i've only made 2 designs so far.. (i need to make the whole deca NOW!!!)
so I know a lot of people take the blonde/curly/blue eyes route, which I just.. didnt fit the doctor's vibes for me??? A lot of people who dont go the fanon stereotype route instead go with young hartnell as inspiration, but I wanted to give Theta a little more hair while still keeping a non-modern hairstyle, and instead decided to base him more heavily on Burgess Meredith, an American actor.
I took the general eyes/face and hair color from Hartnell still and the hairstyle from Meredith and I think it turned out quite nice. The little white hair was just a fun thing to give him more uniqueness and also to tie him a little bit to the white-haired first doctor :))
the golden eyes were just plain vibes honestly. i see theta as a very warm colored person (dont ask what this means) and was like hmm. gold eyes. why not.
here's a thing I did with the references as a reward for reading all my yap. I wish I had designs for the whole deca so I could draw them toghether... (in the future, i will...)
