I just watched an actually good Transfem Jax take, only to see them private the video and renounce everything they said in it during a mental health crisis, presumably after someone harassed them.

I'm resisting the urge to send death threats to the general concept of the TADC fandom. Like genuinely what the fuck. Why are you all so fucking unhinged? Why do you keep hurting people! Fucking stop that and get some psychiatric help.

Binge watching TADC 1-8 for the first time and then watching the finale was probably the correct way to experience it, because the wait time between episodes clearly drove a lot of the actual fans of that show mental.

the worst part of summer is that people get sooo comfortable expressing their disgust at having to see other people’s bodies. they’re always complaining about wrinkly old men at the nude hot springs or fat women in bikinis at the beach. I hate that shit. if you’re not capable of being normal about bodies you personally don’t find attractive, just turn your head to look at something else! and if you’re not smart enough to do that, then at least do the rest of us the courtesy of suffering in silence, because we don’t wanna hear your weird comments. thanks.

I think of the Eutermesans being “social chameleons” thing as kind of being made up by Rasilon to put them down as a species. Because picking up the mannerisms of people around you is not some crazy alien thing. This is like basic human behaviour as well, it never seemed to go so much beyond that. Social species is social.

C’rizz always seemed to have his own personality, even C’rizz in the Foundation was enough capable of individuality to start hanging out with a girl outside of the church that his farther hated.

Really C’rizz’s personality and behaviour is explained by his history of abuse much more than some quirk of his species. We don’t experience much of L’da but from the bits we do get she didn’t seem to be like C’rizz, and in turn she probably had a chill upbringing, since she was rich and not in a cult.

Many, maybe the majority of Eutermesans are subjected to cult abuse, so it makes sense that they well behave like cult survivors instead of well adjusted people? But Rasilon can blame this on their species biology to remove their agency further, because that’s beneficial to him. Just makes more sense to me really.
