Welcome to our blog. Founded back in 2010 in a San Francisco bar ... We're just two ladies (now three!) sharing our favorite, most delicious tunes. Share the love, spread the Jam.
Bass line goes BOOM. xoxo,
GingerBeat - BiddySpice - JuiceBoxDancer p.s. Sorry, folks. We do like Ke$ha, in a “she makes good music even though she’s whiny and clearly doesn’t shower” kind of way.

2015 SPOTIFY PLAYLIST
“Not Gonna Let You Walk Away” - LOLO (Cherry Beach Remix)
Winter is coming, so take yourself to Cherry Beach ... The SF duo tapped into the LOLO original and injected it with some warm, laid-back vibes. This “Not Gonna Let You Walk Away” remix is the cherry [beach] on top your Friday needed. (Never hate us for our puns.)
We discovered this gem on a recent New Music Friday Spotify playlist and have had it on repeat ever since. We’re not sure which we love more: Parissa’s floating vocals, or David’s dreamy production. But regardless, “Fading” is a warm and sunny diamond in an otherwise rough 2016.
A band of three sisters. First there was HAIM. Now there’s Joseph. Desperately wishing our siblings could sing as well as these three ladies; maybe then we could start a band of our own, too...
Not new, but we were recently reminded that Y&Y’s Communion is one of our favorite albums of 2016 thus far. As we hit the halfway year mark and officially make our way into summer, we pay homage to Olly and crew for what is, hands down, one of the best sets of pop to whelm our earbuds in awhile. Stay “Real,” folks.
Aaaaaand we’re officially back from our brief hiatus! Apparently a lot has happened since we last posted: Chrissy Teigen became the coolest mom in the biz, Queen Bey made some TDF “lemonade” and the world went crazy, Kanye wore colored contacts to the Met Ball and the world also went crazy. 2016, man.
But we digress: Meet Elderbook -- a.k.a. Alexander Kotz -- who has recently popped onto our radar and become our latest obsession. We recently caught him at the Communion showcase in NYC in an intimate little room a Rockwood Music Hall, where he opened with “Could” and immediately caught our attention. Listen and love.
As SXSW nears, we’ve started putting together our very important “must-see” list. At the top? The one and only SOFI TUKKER. Their summer vibes have us dreaming about warmer weather...Austin, here we come!
“Show Me The Way” - Penguin Prison (Taylor Wise Remix)
This may or may not be the best remix ever. Who is Taylor Wise and how can we commission him to soundtrack our lives?! Pretty sure if we could make that happen our day-to-day would be so FUN. We’d also dance a lot, which would be great (for both mind and body).
Note: We may or may not be inebriated at the time of this post.
Fun fact: We’re almost always dreaming of California (Day Dreams R Us). So when we hear a new(ish) tune, and it has a chorus that’s all “Young love. West Coast. Who cares. Who knows”...We’re all “AMEN, LANY.”
There are now almost as many band/artist names without vowels as there are start-up company names without vowels. (And yes, pretty sure we’ve made that joke before...But it’s true?!). We will, however, forgive SNBRN (presumably pronounced “sunburn” or whatever) given this amazing beat he dropped a couple days back:
“It’s Strange” - Louis the Child (Win & Woo Remix)
We posted the original “It’s Strange” just a couple of weeks back...Fast forward, and Louis the Child has just released a whole suite of official remixes. We had never heard of Win & Woo before, but dude. To this duo from the windy city: What a f**king tune. Well done.
