Sulphur fumaroles.

Sulphur crystallizing from the gases of the Kilauea volcano, Hawai’i. Fumaroles form when rainwater or groundwater get in contact with hot rocks. Water will boil and turn to steam. It will force its way back to the surface, picking up various elements such as sulphur from rocks it gets in contact with.
