Hi, peeps! As expected, I am once again emerging out of the black hole I'd been hiding in the entire time. And for a reason, of course!
So, give me everything: the theories, the analysis, the little things you've noticed. I want the hot goss!
I'm talking about the upcoming new season of "1670" 'cause I'm wiggling my feet impatiently... and there are two and half more weeks of waiting!
From what I gathered (with the help of the amazing @johajanus):
They're probably going to slow down the Aniela&Maciej story (boohoo! Not cool! They hyped us up at the end of season 1 and now they're trying to starve us!)
There's going to be a reaping day (not like in "The Hunger Games" series, I hope... btw shoutout to the fandom, which I am part of, SOTR was a thing of genius!) and the king himself will participate! And because of his vacation in Turkey, Jan Paweł is going to be broke, basically, by then
Andrzej will start an anarchy!
There's going to be a gang-style episode and a magic-related episode; there's also going to be a very sensual, erotic Kupała Night episode
Aniela is going to have a new admirer, probably from the king's side and boi, is he pretty
There will a conspiracy for sure! Evident from the gun visible in the trailer and Aniela's face in the poster
OK, so Bogdan for sure is possessed by some demon. Winchesters needed, stat!
Stanisław will play a bigger role, probably fall in love with Tereska (which I'm sure won't meet with their fathers' approval. Just imagine: Jan Paweł and Andrzej – one family! Atrocious!)
Zofia is just going to be sad...
And speaking of Zofia, Katarzyna Herman who portrays the matriarch of the family, said in an interview that they're currently in the process of making season 3, of which the working title is "Crazy town in Adamczycha" and it's going to be "about the psychosis we all have"
So, what's your tea? Give me all of it!
Oh, and one more thing – because it may not be so obvious to everyone. I think the main storyline this season will be a conspiracy. I think they're cooking up some revolution type shit. Andrzej is talking about anarchy in the trailer, and he always was kinder to peasants than Jan Paweł anyway. His peasants would become Jan Paweł's, no wonder he would seek help in dethroning him. But I think there's also going to be an assassination attempt – given all the gun, the stares, and if you go back to the first short trailer, you'll see Maciej's and Aniela's looks meeting at a market at night – he's hiding something under his robe – I'm guessing a weapon of some kind. I think the target will be Jan Sobieski (who, in real life, went on to become a king of Poland). Or maybe crazy, possessed Bogdan? That's why I think his words in the trailer: "I won't let anyone pay for my mistakes" are not about his romance with Aniela but something he had done in regard to the revolution.
