I haven't logged on to this website for so long!! 

basically some of the events/thoughts i've been having recently:

Landed my first job at Levi Strauss & Co.

Doing pretty well in school so far...chemistry and calculus are proving to be the most challenging courses i've taken ever. Chemistry more than calculus, however

Kind of focusing on strengthening relationships with the people that are really prevalent in my life. Friendships past high school is an appealing idea for me

that's pretty much it for now huhu back to revising my essay

My Legacy

My legacy is not one where I was able to have 100% on-time submissions every single month (although, I did manage to have it on one month!), nor is my legacy putting the division in a perfect spot. There still is a lot of work to do. My legacy was not built upon perfection. My legacy that I have left D28W was the feeling of unity in each member’s hearts. The resources and tools that clubs needed access to in order to succeed as a Key Club. The guidance that a club would seek when faced with a trivial situation. The support that members needed when presented with moments of stress and times of adversity. The leadership that the division needed to take one step forward towards excellence.

  That is what I left the division in order for the division to grow, which in turn will help the district grow. That is my legacy.

A year later, I serve as the Treasurer of the Cali-Nev-Ha District. It's time for me to leave a new legacy. Our District Board, the LegaBEEs, aims to leave our legacy on this district. This truly will be a golden year.

Looking through my archive really made me think...I'm really glad I ended up where I am today. Just thinking back to previous experiences make me feel a bit remorseful and contempt.

At first I would have preferred another board name, but even now I think it's extremely rude that past board members are criticizing our new district board name. 

Just by disrespecting our new board name is really disrespectful to all of the hard work that the board has accomplished this weekend, as well as will continue to accomplish throughout the year. I'm just a bit irritated because I met so many talented Lieutenant Governors with so much potential over the weekend, and they don't deserve to be looked down upon.

Trying hard in school sucks, but I just realized if I tried this hard the whole year I probably would have been able to get a much higher GPA

There’s a lot of debris floating around in space, and researchers at the Lawrence Livermore National Lab are using supercomputers, optical sensors and other technology to track even small objects that could damage important satellites.

John Henderson, a space scientist at LLNL, explains:

“Everybody uses GPS to get from here to there. We have satellite television, we have weather reports, farmers use satellite data for monitoring crops. If you have a piece of satellite debris whacking into a satellite, in the worst case you now lose that capability.  In February of 2009, that actually happened where there was an Iridium communications satellite that collided with a dead Russian Kosmos satellite and so that basically took out a $100 million dollar satellite.

There’s somewhere between 100,000 to 200,000 pieces of debris that we would like to be tracking. And so the supercomputing capabilities that we have here at Livermore are one way to keep track of that.”

I haven't posted on here for a ~*~while~*~ so I think I'm going to type a little about a few key moments so far just to reflect a little on everything that is goOooing on

That's not to say that there hasn't been any issues, but overcoming the obstacles that come my way only gives me a greater reward in the end. I'm ready to end my junior year of high school with a bang, and I'm ready to tackle the last year of high school. I want to get closer with my friends at school, so that we'll still be close when we all go to college. I want to talk and bond more with the people I love. I want to succeed in my academics and graduate with no regrets.

I'm ready - ready for new memories, challenges to overcome, and goals to accomplish.
