I posted this on my Polish blog but literally nobody replied, so I thought maybe someone here could help me out 😭

SO I have a mission... I want to switch from classical guitar to electric 🎸

I know some basics, I can handle basic chords and tabs (barre chords still overwhelm me but hey I was performing on stage at small events 5 times okay?), but I need advice. What budget-friendly electric guitar would you recommend for a teenage beginner so I don't go broke?

LISTEN because this is important: I made a bet with someone (and I won, obviously ☺️) that they would buy me this guitar and whatever else I need. Because of that, I don't want it to be super expensive so I don't burden anyone, but it needs to actually be decent and just play well. And please, it can't be too heavy, because I don't want to end up in a wheelchair with spine issues before turning 30.

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY: I have zero space in my room. I have a record player, a million CDs/vinyls, makeup, a huge wardrobe taking up a whole wall, and other girls stuff, so I need something that won't clutter the rest of my floor. What small amps or other hacks (like plugging into a laptop or something) (how do people even do that??) would you recommend so my neighbors don't evict me? help me be a rockstar pls 🙏

I remember when Måneskin released ‘MAMMAMIA’ back in 2021. I really liked the song. We were on a school trip to the indoor swimming pools, and while the teacher was getting those locker wristbands with numbers, we had some time to order food at that little snack shop in the building so we could eat after swimming. There was a TV playing music videos. I was standing in the queue with my friend, humming ‘MAMMAMIA’ because it was playing right at that moment. Suddenly, these two girls behind us—who were my ex-friends—started laughing at me. I was only 10 years old, so I got so sad that I actually stopped listening to Måneskin. Luckily, it only lasted for a few months. When May came around and I was watching Eurovision, they performed their new song ‘SUPERMODEL’. It was literally magical, I was staring at the screen completely spellbound. That was the moment I started listening to them again and realized I wanted to play electric guitar. Santa actually brought me a guitar for Christmas that year, but instead of an electric one, I got a classical guitar "because it’s easier to learn" xd. I became such a fangirl. Even my friend wanted to buy me an "I ❤️ Måneskin" shirt. To this day, whenever anyone in my class asks about my music taste or personality, everyone just says "Måneskin". But bro... I haven't even listened to them since Damiano David started dating Dove Cameron. I was angry as hell because when he broke up with Giorgia Soleri, I literally married him in The Sims 4 and we had a son together. When I found out he was with Dove, I felt so jealous and betrayed. Honestly, thank god I can't log into my EA account right now, because otherwise, he would have accidentally drowned in a pool or got eaten by a Cowplant a long time ago 💀

it’s that time of the year again right before summer break where so much is happening in my life that i feel this intense urge to write a song to let all my emotions out.

but then i remember that i did the exact same thing last year, and looking back at those lyrics now literally makes me curl up from cringe. i'm so scared it's gonna happen again 💀

honestly, my peak songwriting era was when i was 9 back in 2020. i wrote better songs back then. i was out here writing bangers about dogs, hot dogs, cats, and pork chops.

i even had one titled "szalone dziewczyny" (crazy girls) and the lyrics went something like "they are crazy and there are nine of them" and i just listed all their names. there was also a lot of oououuuuooooo oh yeah in between xd

every single word was written with a different colored marker, full of spelling mistakes, and honestly, right now it’s hard to even read it at all.

i’m seriously thinking about starting a youtube channel for guitar covers... but well, first i actually need to get a new phone because my current one is completely broken and i have nothing to record with also i'd need to learn a few songs beforehand so i can post them regularly and not get completely destroyed by the youtube algorithm for disappearing plus i’m currently sick, my throat burned earlier and now my nose is so clogged that I sound so weird, so i couldn't even record anything right now anyway. but yeah... i'm really thinking about it.
