College Rant

if you don't like people ranting, read no further. I'm in my second year of Accounting in college and this year we had a teacher replaced with another, which usually wouldn't bother me. but they got rid of the teacher who is basically the only reason i passed last year for a teacher that has 'taught before.' After paying over £800 to go to college and books ect, hearing that our teacher that will be teaching around 60% of the course has 'taught before' didn't and still doesn't fill me with any confidence. we're approaching the end of my second year now and this teacher's classes are the only parts of the course that I can't do. At first I thought it was probably me and that the way she was teaching just didn't work for me, but after asking classmates they too have the same problem.

Handing off a course full of students to a teacher that has very little experience shouldn't be done. I've helped my brother with his GCSE Maths homework and taught him how to do various things on a few occasions, does that make me a teacher? No, it doesn't. Could I go into a secondary school and teach GCSE Maths? no, I couldn't. So why can she teach us with minimal teaching experience?
