'I-I-I don't know" she muttered, "I was out the door as soon as I saw it." Another sob quaked through her chest as Erika hid her face in her brother's chest. It hurt so so much.
"Hush little fighter be strong for me yes? I will go kick his ass for you if you’d like?" he was being uncharacteristically gentle but the fact that Alaric had done this pissed him off.
'What's the point?” she murmured, ” he's probably hating himself anyway…”
"Lets get you that Vodka shall we? As to your mother we’ll worry about that later thats future Erika’s problem" he steered her to the couch and went to his liquor cabinet and grabbed what he needed "I’m going to make you a russian white first yeah? But I’ll leave the bottle next to you after that, you can trust me to look after you little sister"
"i usually drink it straight from the bottle" she muttered. quietly she pinched the bridge of her nose. She wanted her violin but in her hast she’d left it at her father’s. "I trust you, Johnathanne. Just make me stop when you think it right because I will just keep going"
"Yeah well if you’re going to be drinking with me we’re going to keep it somewhat classy" he teased and handed her the drink. Johnathanne sat down on the couch and looked her over "Man he really did a number, you sure I can’t get you a little revenge?"
"no you can’t beat the shit out of dad get in line, big brother" she replied placing the drink to her lip and taking a gulp. A sigh escaped her lips as the alcohol slide down her throat a soothing burn of sorts.
"Correction I can I will just choose to hold myself back for you" he said, waving a hand dismissively. Johnathanne simply stared into his own drink, not ready to give into cravings "So what did he actually do? Like did he forbid you from seeing someone or?"
