Every April the city of Louisville bulldozes homeless camps downtown in preparation for the incoming rich tourists. Personal belongings such as tents and sleeping bags are destroyed by cleaning crews (to make matters worse, these crews are often prisoners who are paid $0.16 per hour)
In Kentucky the temperature often still drops below feeezing at night in April, and the city has the audacity to justify their actions by claiming “its warm out now”. These actions kill.
