Lowkey… This is how I imagined Iepei at the beginning of Asterism (by idas_library on Ao3) before I saw official art for the character….

Have I mentioned I’m bad at reading? Many many chapters were read in pure confusion trying to figure out how she functioned lol.

I dont even want to talk about what I imagined Charlii to look like… But anyways! I love this fic so much!

I may have died for a couple months… but Im back in action baby!

Asterism by, the lovely, idas_library on Ao3 brought me back! This is all I could think about the entire time I was reading the latest chapter lol.

If you’re still hung up on Klance like an old toxic ex in the big year of 2026 (like me) I cannot recommend this fic more. I am literally obsessed with Lotor’s characterization in it! DO NOT get me started.

Anyhoo Im rambling… enjoy the art!

Drawing my OCs!

I still haven’t named them yet… But they are a Prince who is Deaf (left) and his manservant (right) think Arthur and merlin’s position dynamic from Merlin BBC. Though these two are much friendlier, they are childhood best friends that met after a chance encounter. I going to call them Kal (prince) and Po (best friend)!

Anyhoo, Po works as Kal’s unofficial righthand and translator since he learned how to sign after meeting Kal when they were kids. This is one of the reasons they are so close since sadly, no one in Kal’s family learned to sign/communicate with him, so that was first time Kal had experienced such a thing. I could yap a ton about the ideas I have about the two.

But! This important details in this piece are:

- The two of them making the hand shape for “good-friends” in ASL.

- Po being covered in paint. Kal wears painted armor (A sign of status) and Po’s favorite job is painting it when it’s been scuffed in battle since he had to give up being an artist for the more steady income of working at the castle. We love angst around here.

- And the wood beads in Po’s hair being a visual contrast of Kal’s fine metal crown. It’s supposed to show that despite how close they are as friends, they are still stuck within the class systems of their kingdom.

I have so many ideas about the two of them! So I’ll probably post more about their individual characters in the future. But until then, I am open to any constructive criticisms on them since I am not POC or Deaf. I don’t want them to be offensive in anyway!

I left out a TON of their storylines so I’ll talk more about it in future posts!
