Introducing PhotoMojo: My new motorcycle photography column I've started a new column for RoadRUNNER Magazine called PhotoMojo. In each column I'll share a bit of what I've learned about photographing motorcycles and motorcycle trips over the last twenty years.

Currently field testing the Headway Tag Bluetooth audio system for your #motorcyclehelmet. It works by using the shell of your helmet as an acoustic driver, turning it, essentially, into a speaker. Has anyone else tried it? Stay tuned... #roadrunnermagazine #audiogear

So this happened. I rode a 1000 miles yesterday, kind of by accident. I left Rock Springs Wyoming too late (8am) for a real go at an #ironbuttchallenge* and wasted time with a sit-down lunch and sit-down afternoon break in Nebraska . But by 600 miles I was past the post-lunch lull, had good energy, and could see Iowa from the seat of the #AfricaTwin. So I said, "Why not?" and went for it. I listened to podcasts, ate gas station pizza, pushed into the dark, closed my vents, and wiggled my limbs to keep them awake. I pulled into Iowa City before 2am. Good job, #AfricaTwin. I promptly found a room and went to sleep. I'm still in the #TotalEclipse afterglow, trying to put into words what I saw and felt. I fear that I won't be able too, that the only thing to say is to make sure that you see for yourself in 2024, but I will try. Time to saddle up and ride 2300 miles home.
