Happy Holidays, chirp!!

Totally on time New Years art and not a late because I forgot to post it last week Christmas art at all.

My mom saw the origami birds when I was playing and thought they were so cute she asked for art of them for Christmas (and I added bird Ratio and Aven and references to others because I couldn't help myself)...

Here's to a better year 2025!!! 🎆🎉

I know I never post on here (or anywhere really, I'm so bad at social media), but this year I'm trying to do better at making and promoting my art, so I just wanted to share that I have a Bluesky account and will likely be posting there more often.

AFTG: Winter Exchange

Snow Day

I made this as a gift for @jojen-hewitt in the exchange by @aftgexchange

Summary: The foxes have a snowy day.

South Carolina is not known for having an immense amount of snow. If it was, then the sheet of white that covered the ground would not be such a surprise. It was a mid morning snow that had begun as a morning frost. It was the first day of practice after winter break and the foxes were excited to get back to the court. They arrived just as the first flurry was threatening to fall. The foxes paid it no mind as it surely would never stick. The door shut behind them as the first snowflake fell from the sky.

I went with the Magic!AU prompt because I can’t resist an excuse for glowy magic effects and Andrew in a big hat!! So here’s half-elf Neil and dark mage Andrew practicing some illusion magic probably at midnight on a rooftop. 

I’m so extremely sorry it’s late! But I hope you enjoy it.

Andrew Minyard, the greatest sculptor in all of Palmetto, gladly agrees when King Ichirou Moriyama commissions him to create a statue of his recently deceased advisor, Nathan Wesninski. Andrew remembers Wesninski well: sharp blue eyes and striking red hair. More notably, he had his only son publicly and humiliatingly executed. Andrew doesn’t have much ground to stand on when condemning others for killing their family members, but he doesn’t trust Ichirou, Nathan, or any other city leader as far as he can throw them. That is why Andrew asked Ichirou to pay him upfront for the statue: he does not plan on sculpting Nathan. Andrew plans to use his position to bring about his true plan: creating a sculpture of Nathan’s son, Nathaniel.

Political unrest, reanimation, and true love ensue.

Neil cursed the witness protection. He cursed them for relocating him to this tiny town in rural Oregon, cursed the town for only having one veterinary clinic, and cursed the vet for already being closed. For good measure, he cursed himself and everything in his life which at twenty-four had left him woefully unprepared to deal with the predicament he found himself in now.

My art for @blogaboutyafavbirdboys’s heartwarming and fun Sheep Farm AU, Lately I Been, I Been Losing Sleep for the @aftgbigbang!!

This is such a great fic!! And it has been the best time drawing all these lovely moments! You can read the fic here!!  It features some adorable soft moments, lots of pining, and plenty of sheep and cats! Enjoy! :D

Lastly, I would like to dedicate these drawings to my beautiful kitty cat, Squeak, the constant model and muse for not only all of these pieces but most of my other works featuring fur babies, and who sadly died last week after 18 unforgettable years. These were some of the last drawings she sat with me for so they will always hold a special place for me. 

And a huge thanks to Chloe not only for this beautiful fic and the chance to draw some cat friendly content, but also for allowing this dedication, it means a lot. <3

Neil climbs the front pillars of the house, more a shadow than a creature, needing to see the stars and remind himself of where he is. For most of his life, he hadn’t known stars. He’d known dirt and stagnant air and nothing of this terrifying wonderland above ground.
