Pretty sure the last person who was unessecarily naked in a shower in Jojo’s was Anne from Part 3. Now we have an unnessecary shower scene with a make villain. Oh how the turn tables.

I love Stone Free’s design because 1. It has Jolyne’s silouhette without having visible breasts and 2. It looks pretty fucking cool

Does Emporio’s design have anything to do with his backstory or stand ability. Why the fuck is he dressed like a baseball player??

I actually like these creepy-ass designs for the female guards...

Making sexually appealing designs for women even when they aren’t required for men is pretty pervasive in animation. (See the birds in Rio, the sloths and squirrels in ice age, any fantasy creature where the male looks like a monster and the female is just a green humanoid.)

It’s kind of nice seeing Araki throw in the occasional wtf backgroud design for women just like he does for men (i.e. Pesci)

If any of y’all want to see it, this is my Stone Ocean/Jolyne playlist! It’s mostly for fight scenes, so a good amount of the music is upbeat. There’s a mix of genres in it, I think rock, pop, metal, are the main ones. I had a lot of fun making it!
