Hi this is a formal apology for my shenanigans and also a cry for help

I have recently entered a phase of life trying to organize and backup all the digital work I have since 2018.

45GB of iPad photos I refused to put into albums and reference via the recents album alone, and nearly 100GB of raw documents in Procreate 😆 (90% of these are unlabeled and undated btw!!!!!). My photographic memory can only take me so far before I start bugging out and losing it. And I reference everything in those spaces always. All the time. So it has to be organized.

AND my cloud drive was full too so I'm BEWAAAAAACKKKK I need to backup that too and clear it out... I'm okay! I'm ok.

Anyway. Point is that I am undergoing severe fall cleaning right now. I'm struggling to put really any art out because my art space is so cluttered atm :(( It's a much needed cleanup but I want to DRAW!!!! I want to draw so bad. But I need the clean workspace again. I've been genuinely putting this off for years 😭

I'll get back to sharing about the things I love again soon... 🥺 My soft deadline for all this cleaning is to be done before 2026

update: 1974 canvases are now in ipad files and i no longer have to worry about losing all of my art from the last 8 years of my life. yay

things little artist me needed to hear a long time ago but didn't:

- the cranium is bigger than you think

- the pelvis is larger than you think

- pelvis has a length and depth too, not just width

- the hips are taller vertically than you think

- puberty is rife with inconsistent body proportions. arms and/or legs are longer than you think, and faces are rounder and softer than you think

- when in doubt, take a video or picture of yourself doing the action. there won't be a 100% perfect reference online so don't waste time scrolling
