He laughs as the fluff tickles his face and nuzzles him back, threading his fingers through his fur before he gives a bright bark in response, tail happily wagging away.
“you’re so soft and cuddly~” He chimes as he scratches him behind the ears.

He can’t help but huff back at them with a roll of his eyes. “oh don’t act so childish, it doesn’t suit Cobagator’s face.” He says as he puts his hands back in his pockets, casting a quick cautious glance to his sides but not noticing the blaster.
He looks back at them again and tilts his head a little. “then again i suppose you are a kid right?” He sighs and frowns.
Sky reaches her position and its jaws drop open to charge, though it’s still wobbling wildly. It doesn’t like this at all, really doesn’t like it; It knows Gizmo and quite apart from the fact he has the same feel as its master he gives really good pets and it really likes him.
…. And it knows its master does too. So why is he trying to kill him?
They turn their head to the side, pouting a little, exaggerating their expression. They’d stick their tongue out if they knew how to do a tongue. A hand comes up to adjust their glasses again, almost unconsciously taking them off to wipe a little of the red goo from their lens, causing them to squint into the almost nonexistent vision they have without them. Seems like sans really wasn’t kidding, he can’t see without his glasses.
He snorts at their expression and covers his mouth to stop himself from laughing, now really wasn’t the time to be distracted by how silly that looked on his friend’s face.
“if Coberoo could see his face right now i bet he wouldn’t be amused.” He chuckles before shaking his head and being serious again, clicking his teeth a little. “look buddy, i don’t know about you but i can keep this up all day.’“ A blantant lie but they probably don’t know that.

He can’t jump the distance to avoid the attacks so he shortcuts out of the path of them and quickly locates them frowning when he sees them trying to leave.
“oh no you don’t buddy!” He calls and activates his blue magic to bring them back. “you’re not just walking out of this one, not until i get Balto back.” He tells them firmly as he wipes some sweat away from his face, he needs to tone it down a little with his magic use.
Well, shoot, if that’s the criteria they’re going to be there for a while. They have no idea how to give sans back. They don’t even know if they can. They don’t know what caused the sudden push that dragged them forward and they have no idea if sans can even see what’s going on. Probably not, because they couldn’t.
They’re just taking advantage of a good situation.
Of course, they’ve made plans; as soon as they have a handle on the magic, they’re going to finish what they started; then they’ll RESET, and bring sans along with them for the ride. Playing as him, experiencing everything, should stave off the boredom for a good long while.
They fold their arms with a petulant look, their eyesocket still twitching wildly, as Sky circles around, taking up a position behind Gizmo.

He jumps back to avoid the bones, he can’t afford to get hit or use too much energy, cursing a little as he loses a slipper in the move and more as he sees the state them using Coby’s magic is putting him in.
“you really shouldn’t push Baltimore so hard buddy, neither of you will be able to keep going if you keep that up.” He informs them, on alert for the next attack as his gaze flicks quickly between them and Sky, thinking about what else he should do to end this quickly without hurting his friend.
He’s right; they’re not going to win this, and it was ambitious to think they could. But they’re not backing down and they’re not going to give sans back.
So the only option really is to… walk away. Find somewhere they can rest and SAVE, and come back. It wouldn’t be running away, it’d just be postponing the battle.
Their mouth parts, red spilling between their teeth, and they let Sky loose its blast directly at gizmo, more bones thrusting up from the ground around a larger area, an eyesocket twitching wildly, drawing their arm back to throw their dagger at the space they’re imagining the other sans will jump into.
And when the dagger leaves their hand, they turn their back on the other sans, starting to walk away, pulling off their glasses to wipe their face on their sleeve again. Battle postponed. See you later.

But power is nothing without skill and Gizmo has had plenty of practice in skill.
He waits until the last possible moment before he throws a bone to knock Sky’s aim off and shortcuts out of the way of them, reappearing some distance away.
“you’ve got red on you Cobergator.” He points out as he gestures to their sleeve, idly flipping a bone in his other hand.
Their face is locked in a focused grimace and a murderous glare as they stop and almost immediately as soon as the other Sans disappears; behind them is the sound of Sky blasting the bone out of the air, and the dull whine of it recharging its blast.
That hecking teleport bull - they couldn’t counter that. They don’t know how-! And they haven’t figured out how to do it either!
…. But they can… They can do….
As soon as their enemy’s voice sounds out they latch onto it, blue circles forming on the ground as bones thrust up through the ground beneath him.
The strain of doing all this at once, having to focus so hard, is showing; how did he do it for that, that marathon battle?? And over fifty times???

They don’t know how to keep this up, they haven’t had the practice Cobalt has had, they don’t know his coping mechanism, his techniques or his limitations. They’re forcing his magic to work for them through their sheer DT and it’s starting to damage them.

“yeah didn’t think so..” He sighs before at the sight of the blaster looking serious. “hey Coberlerone! if you’re listening right now fight back! i’ll try to figure out if there’s something i can do here.” He calls out to him, hoping he can hear before letting his eye light up, ready to dodge and try wearing them down.
“if you could aim to miss Sky that would be a real help right now.” He says to it and looks back at them. “well bring it on then buddy.”
Their eyesockets narrow further, their arm coming up to wipe the red now dripping down their chin off on their sleeve. They can kill this guy. Nothing to it….
ignoring the fact that Sans was the one monster the human could never kill….
But the human has the advantage now. They have his magic. They have their soul. They’re powerful.

He keeps his stance calm and casual but he stays on high alert for any sudden attacks, clearly they’re ready to fight at a moments notice and they’re not at all happy to see him.
“easy there buddy, i’m not here to fight, i’m just here to make sure my fiend is alright.” Which given the situation, he clearly isn’t. “you mind letting me talk to Cobernator?” He asks hopefully, he doubts they’ll let Coby in control that easily but it’s worth a shot.
Like heck they’re giving up control right after they just got it, even if they knew how. They’re going to keep this sans forever. He’s way more fun to play with than a weak little 12-year-old body.
Their expression twists into… annoyance, with a dash of contempt, and they shake their head in an emphatic no. Their fist clenches, magic sparking, obviously focusing hard, red dribbling between clenched teeth as from behind them looms one of Cobalt’s blasters - the smallest and therefore the easiest controlled one, named Sky. It’s wobbling in midair, conflicted, obviously not under the human’s complete control; but it’ll more erratic and therefore more dangerous for it.

“you look like you’ve seen a ghost buddy.” He says casually as he steps a little closer. “cat got your tongue or something?”
They grit their teeth and step back, eyesockets narrowing as the other Sans steps forward, shaken out of the shock by the obvious threat. They can wonder what’s going on later; Of course this other skeleton is no match for their human soul and killing intent, this they know, but their sans at least was a wily bastard and there’s no doubt this one is the same.
They still don’t make a sound - despite if not mastering at least learning the operation of Sans’ combat magics, they still haven’t got a handle on his utility magic - but their expression communicates all Gizmo needs to know - the shock dissolving into wariness and annoyance. Gizmo gives him a flat look, he’s not buying it for a second, not after all this time helping Dusty, so he leads him to the sofa and sits him down on it, passing him a bag of ketchup flavoured crisps before he looks through the movies they have.
“no isn’t an option Cobster, we’re watching little shop of horrors and we’re going to relax and mock it alright?” He tells him firmly as he pops the DVD into the player. “and the we can talk, it doesn’t have to be about everything but just talk to me alright?”

And no sooner than the message has been sent does Gizmo arrive and pull Dusty into his arms for a hug, chittering with affection as he nuzzles kisses along his cheek.
He almost drops his phone when Gizmo ports in and pulls him into a hug, but he’s nowhere near as twitchy as he used to be about that kind of stuff and simply relaxes with a low sigh, leaning into the cuddle and giving an appreciative churr. “….. that was quick.”
“well i said i’d be right here babe.” He chuckles with a wink and holds him closer, tail waving lazily behind him. “you know i’ll never keep you waiting.” With that he gently lifts him into his arms and kisses him before he gets ready to head off again with Dusty in tow. “hold on tight.”
