Firestone Walker: Stickee Monkey • Quadrupel • 13.4% ABV • Belated review but oh well. This beer was delicious. Firestone Walker brewed this quadrupel with Mexican Turbinado Sugar packed it away in spirit barrels and dubbed it a "Central Coast Quad". The Bruery: Mischmishmish • Belgian Style Golden Ale w/ Apricots added • 8.5% ABV • I hardly come down on the Bruery but this beer was bad. Plain and simple. Overcarbonated and wishy-washy in the mouth. This was more of a fruit beer but the apricot fun from Filmishmish was absent and the yeast that works so well with Mischief was a poor match.
