Raimunda Putani Yawnawá é uma índia que pertence ao povo Yawnawá e nasceu em 1980 na Terra Indígena do Rio Gregório, no Acre.

Junto com sua irmã, Kátia,foi educada na cultura indígena e dos brancos. Ambas falam o português com facilidade. Foram as primeiras mulheres da sua tribo a se oferecerem para o duro treinamento de se tornarem pajés, Raimunda tinha então 27 anos, e teve que enfrentar a resistência de muitos membros da tribo, inclusive do seu próprio marido, o pajé Bira. Tiveram que ficar um ano isoladas, comendo alimentos crus e sem beber água, somente um líquido à base de milho.

Desta maneira, puderam fazer o juramento à planta Rarê Muká, considerada sagrada nesta cultura porque abre a mente para o conhecimento e para a cura. Agora, entre todos os índios em hectares, e talvez no Brasil, elas são as únicas duas xamãs e líderes espirituais.

As indígenas se tornaram uma espécie de embaixadoras da cultura Yawnawá. Em 2006, Raimunda Putani recebeu o reconhecimento do Senado brasileiro ao ser distinguida com o Diploma Mulher Cidadã Bertha Lutz
