baekhyun~!!! hyung? no i’m never going to call you that. even though it’s your birthday it’ll make you seem older when in fact you’re actually still a five year old. but i’m your kid now? i don’t know everything is confusing.. let’s just say you’re my best friend.

have i ever told you how much i look up to you and admire you? i don’t think i have (maybe not in a while) because i’m not one to talk so much, but i really do. ever since you joined the company, i was amazed by how quickly you learned when it took me years and years to train and you only had a few months! it still amazes me. the way your dancing has improved since day one as well. of course i’ve also noticed that- it really is about time for me to give up my main dancer spot isn’t it? that’s seriously your present and i’ll probably never stop saying that. i hope sm listens and gives you more of my solo dances because i’m getting tired… ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

another thing i admire about you is your ability to light up every room you walk into as well as every stage we perform on. we don’t even need the stage lights all we really need is you! you always know when one of us are feeling down and you never fail to put a smile on each of our faces and i know that even our fans feel the same.

you know i love you right? you really are my best friend and i’ll always be here for you if you ever have some down time we can just talk or if you need some dancing pointers i’ll be around too. maybe in return you can also give me some fashion tips? just stop asking me to buy you things everyday at least- no no i’m just kidding~

anyways, please never stop making me laugh- never stop being you. i love you a lot baekhyun, i hope this wasn’t too lame for you to read.

88 : 종인 ─   it was nearly silent in the empty practice room. the only audible sounds were his own heavy breathing and the faint music playing from his phone. jongin hadn't been in korea very often these days. and it has taken a toll on not only him, but his practice schedule. with exo's comeback slowly approaching, he didn't want to waste any time. although recently, how he has been spending his down time while in korea was far from a waste. staring at his own figure in large mirror in front of him, he hadn't noticed how disheveled his appearance had become. he was noticeably exhausted, hair sticking to his forehead from sweat and hours of practice. did he need a break? it was likely. so it surprised him that once the thought had crossed his mind, his phone began buzzing against the wooden floor. 

soojung? jongin's eyes lit up as they scanned over the contact name along with a message that simply read: "where are you?" 

classic soojung. a simple, blunt message that left so much mystery. smiling to himself, jongin sat himself down cross-legged with his phone in his hands, staring at the message. he had just been thinking of her beforehand. he's been thinking about her a lot lately, and not just by chance. the two have been spending as much time together as their busy schedules could allow. and this is the happiest that jongin’s felt in a while. 

of course they have always been friends, but their relationship that had only started as a publicity stunt has blossomed into a reality and they have become close- very close. so naturally, he couldn't hesitate a second longer, typing out his reply to her as quickly as possible. ( SMS: 수정 ) i'm at the studio practicing.. why? ( SMS: 수정 ) you should come and keep me company. it's lonely here since it's so late ㅋㅋ ( SMS: 수정 ) i'll treat you to dinner after?

(–０４): After a successful wrap up of a solo vlive the vocalist was feeling pretty good and happy with how it went. The aeri as usually always having funny or interesting things to say. All the different languages and emotes and hearts given– sometimes he really wished he knew every language in the world in order to communicate with more exo-l. But as that isn’t quite possible he settles with letting them know through his actions that he cares about each of them. Letting out a yawn he shuffles down the hall of the hotel before pushing open a certain members door and shuffling in while rubbing his face. “Jongin-ah, did you see my vlive? Did it go well?”

88 : 종인 ─  “i did! those scary stories you were telling -- i remember you saying you had sleep paralysis during our 5th anniversary vlive but i thought you were kidding.” he had just been lounging around in bed, and it would be a lie for him to say he hadn’t just been dozing off before his fellow member had barged into his hotel room. but while he was getting ready to sleep he had gotten the notification on his phone that baekhyun started streaming on vapp and he couldn’t help but become curious enough to check it out. sitting up, he rubbed at his eyes before a sigh escaped past his lips, speaking again soon after. “the fans really seem to love it when you go live on there... i feel like i should do another one soon but my schedule has been too crazy. i’ve barely even been able to see you guys other than these group schedules.”

88 : 종인 ─  “ah, i guess you’re right. but it was still embarrassing.” jongin stared down at his feet, recalling the recent memory that was already causing him to cringe. every idol has had the experience of tripping or making a mistake on stage. but every time it happened to jongin, he took it very personally. as though he had failed his fans as well as himself. and this one small slip up from their most recent concert has been replaying over and over in his head, with no remorse. but he was sure his label mate would understand where he was coming from, so he continued on with a nod. “hasn’t anything like that happened to you? making a mistake in front of all those fans? it’s horrible…”

88 : 종인  ─  “ah well, i might –” looking up from his hunched over position, he hadn’t even noticed the female standing beside him, her gaze hovering over him. having forgotten his phone back at the dorm, he asked baekhyun for his so he could distract himself. hand running through his dark locks as he stared down at the device, all this time there has been far too much on his mind and just no one who could hear him out. of course, he had his members who were willing to listen, but they didn’t always understand. most of the time he felt bothersome to discuss his feelings with them so he didn’t. so seeing as he is far more private, he didn’t see why talking with another person he barely knew would help either. “i don’t know… who told you?”
