For this post, I will be talking about OSDD as a whole, and in further posts, I will be going more in-depth about OSDD subtypes.

otherwise specified dissociative disorder is a category of dissociative disorders classified as similar to DID but not meeting all diagnostical requirements. OSDD1 is considered a plural disorder with a group of alters varying in size. OSDD does not look the same for everyone. OSDD symptoms include A prolonged sense of disturbance in self-identity. Derealization. Depersonalization. OSDD and its subtypes are trauma disorders that respond to extreme and inescapable early childhood trauma. It has come to my attention that many people don't know that OSDD is an umbrella term and covers all OSDD subtypes, including OSDD1, OSDD1a, OSDD1b, OSDD2, OSDD3, and OSDD4. if anyone wants to hear about any of these disorders, I've been collecting research and am ready to discuss them. let me know if I should make further posts about this topic!
