honestly I feel really bad for Gooseworx cause she wrote a great story and half the fanbase turned out to be a bunch of redditors that turned on her and called her series trash cause they didn't understand that one of the characters was a closeted trans girl and then when they were told, they threw massive transphobic hissy fits about it.
UPDATE: THIS POST IS WRONG! Disregard what's below, I'm just keeping it up for posterity. A recent Tumblr update made it so deactivation doesn't change an account's URL until 30 days after deletion. She may still have been banned, but there's no definitive way to know either way until 30 days from now.
It appears Gooseworx didn't delete her tumblr, it looks like it was banned. You can see that her handle hasn't been changed to "gooseworx-deactivated", which means it was most likely banned. Tumblr being a hellsite yet again

Recently, you cannot access Gooseworx's blog anymore, and people thought she deactivated her Tumblr. However, she was actually banned.
When someone deactivates their main blog, a string of numbers and letters is attached to their username: "-deactivated[year][month][day]"
When you look at posts made by Gooseworx, there's no "deactivated" and no numbers
Some speculate that this might have been a sideblog, since there's no "deactivated" string if you delete a sideblog, but it was her main blog. You can't use sideblogs to like posts. If you search "Gooseworx liked this" on google, you will find proof ithat she liked multiple Tumblr posts.
All of this adds up to one thing: Gooseworx was banned from Tumblr. And why? Gooseworx is a trans woman, and Tumblr staff hates trans women and bans them for no reason, and also, there is an ongoing harassment campaign against Gooseworx, so I bet they must have mass-reported her blog and gotten her banned.
Fuck the "tadc critical" community, anyone in the "anti tadc" or "anti gooseworx" tags is NOT to be trusted!!!!!! They weaponized staff's transmisogyny to ban a successful trans woman off the platform all because the show didn't end the way they wanted it to.

I wanted to make a post about my "thoughts" on ep 9 and just TADC as a whole and how it portrayed Jax, so this is that, ig.
I've let the episode marinate in my brain now and I think I can give my full honest review on it at this point.
As a guide, I'm gonna be using other people's opinions and theories.
"People are excusing Jax's abu$1ve behavior just because he's trans now"
^I am going to start off with this one since it's the one I've seen the most I think. Personally, Jax has always been my favorite character in the series, I think since episode 2; but at the same time, I was really annoyed by him and his genuinely abu$1ve behavior (especially towards Gangle). He WAS an asshole, even with the backstory given in ep 9, he did all of those things himself. No one forced his hand, but I think he acted that way because of his feelings towards himself and the conflict within himself. That isn't to say that his parents didn't have an influence in that, but he honestly didn't like himself, and that's something that he had to resolve himself, but he didn't get that opportunity, because he saw how those around him acted (pre circus). Which brings me to the next point.
"Jax being Trans came out of nowhere"
^Soooo.... As someone who didn't predict Jax as being Trans-Fem, I still have to disagree. Apart from Goose stating that Jax being Trans was always implied but still not obvious; throughout the show, Jax shows signs of at least being a little ✨zesty✨ I just couldn't peg what kind, and I stayed off of Tumblr or any theory post to avoid, well, drama (I joined the random late 2025). I'll admit, I did see from rime to time people saying Jax was trans coded, but I couldn't really see what kind, until I re-watched the episode 5, that's when I was like: "egg" cuz not only did I notice how Jax always tried to make it a point that he was "masculine" but he also obviously had some conflicting feeling on ✨the dress✨. She boymods, and I thought that people would understand/notice this, but I guess it's much easier for a trans person to realize this. There is no "way to be trans", you just are, everyone's experience is different, but in Jax's case, he literally tries so hard to act "like a man" because not only did his family give his a hard time for it but he didn't want anyone knowing or even getting a hint to the fact he is trans. She simply didn't accept herself.
Also, if you notice me using he/him pronouns for Jax, it's cuz a.) Goose said it was fine, but mostly b.) It feels wrong to use she/her pronouns when referring to her pre us finding out she is trans, cuz she never even came out, Pomni only knows cuz she literally invaded her mind (Jax obviously let her, even if subconsciously). So yeah, and now my last point:
The Fem Jax fanart/AU's
^This one is more just for fun, but I'm referring to people depicting/theorizing that Jax would automatically be "nice" after her transition. I personally don't like this theory, cuz, it's still Jax, she's still an ass and she still did all those abu$1v3 things, and in no way do I see Gangle or anyone "forgiving and forgetting" what he did just because of the fact he was dealing with alot of things and because he was hurting. I feel like she would slowly try to better herself and grow but it would still take some time. If anything I think Goose's post on "Jax if she wasn't an asshole" proves this further, because, she COULD'VE been nice, but that was only if Kaufmo hadn't knocked when he did and if he also just hadn't pushed everyone away, THEN and only then would she have been all sunshine and rainbows and wouldn't have done what he did to Gangle, Ragatha, Pomni and well, like Goose said, pushed Ribbit to ✨abstraction✨. But I guess that's the whole point of AU's, it's if where an alternate universe and the cookie didn't crumble the way it did.
To close off: I love how Goose depicted the Trans experience, specifically the boy-modding experience: observing how men act, and like Jax did, put on a performance (depicted as him being the comedic relief and breaking the fourth wall).
Do you think, that should've given more characters from the main cast time to shine? I really like your show and like all of the characters, but sometimes some of them feel left out. But maybe that's just me, who knows
Yeah I'd agree with that, it's just a lot bigger of an undertaking than I'm sure a lot of people realize when you're the only writer and juggling so many different departments at once. It would have required more episodes, time, and stamina. Something I wasn't exactly graced with, being only Glitch's second creator driven show. I would have needed more writers and co-directors, because writing and directing even just 9 episodes basically killed me.
It's also a miracle I was allowed to make episode 9 as long as it was, because one thing a producer never ever wants to hear is "I'd like to make this longer." There will always be an incentive to cut things down over fleshing things out. Thankfully if I do another one of these, a lot of the kinks will hopefully be worked out from the beginning. Hopefully.

She 100% referred to Zooble exclusively as she/her the first few weeks of them being there, and once she learned they were nonbinary from everyone else, she apologized relentlessly for three solid days.
What are Jax's true thoughts on Gangle? Like i know she likes to bully Gangle in particular but we see moments where it seems like she actually thinks that they're friends almost (like when she says "what? She likes it when i'm mean to her") and ofc the scene with her in Jax's mind
I think Jax takes his complex feelings on his mother out on Gangle, but tries to justify it to himself through delusions that it's not ACTUALLY abuse, even though it is. Most abusers don't ever think of themselves as abusers, and tend to make up a reality in which their abuse is either not that big a deal or it's somehow warranted.
And from Gangle's perspective, she was at a very vulnerable place when she joined, and Jax took control of their relationship. She formed a bit of a codependent bond with him even though it just mostly caused her pain. Losing a friend who frequently hurts you can fill you with complex feelings that are really hard to make sense out of.
