I really miss livejournal. It was great in my teen years. Now as an adult I feel I need some outlet to express my emotions. Also, to go back and update about how so many of my dreams have come true. I have a husband, we bought a house, we have traveled. He is everything I hoped he would be.
Anthony and I have been official for 10 short years. I remember that evening like it was just yesterday. We were in the car outside the restaurant. The sun was setting hitting Anthony’s face. I was nervous and didn’t know what to expect. Then we spent the happiest years of my life together. Anthony and I met in person for the first time 10yrs ago today. It was our first date. Our first decade together has gone by so fast. It was the best decade. My baby Spunky died this morning. I’ve had him since I was 20 and for the last 14 years my days started with him barking ready to eat and ended with him falling asleep by my side. I once told Anthony that to me heaven was when all 5 of us were together relaxing in bed. He was by our side in the road, on walks, when we traveled. We saw the world together. When you asked him for a kiss he would put his head against your chest push against you. Even when he was upset. He loved barking, he loved cookies, he loved the warmth and he loved to cuddle. I miss him so much and I feel sick with grief. I just want to be with my baby.
