so, when his friends or other people call him joey he immediately goes into a i will fucking fight you mode 

when he starts to see ronan on the dl, ronan jokingly calls him joey while they’re sitting around and kavinsky has to restrain himself from hitting ronan right in the face - he tells ronan to never call him that again

ronan can tell k is serious, so he does as asked for once

the closer they become, the more relaxed and loved k feels, the less he feels he needs to guard himself or his personal secrets

one lazy afternoon when they’re having sex in ronan’s room, ronan lets joey slip between his lips before they kiss

instead of anger or disgust or rage filling k, he feels a sense of warmth and then ronan says joey again and kavinsky feels euphoric 

afterward, ronan starts to call him joey when they’re alone and in private

kavinsky feeling loved enough to allow ronan this one private thing between them and only them 

ronan eventually calling k joey all the time, even in public, and k not minding

k going by joey and being comfortable with it ｡◕ ‿ ◕｡

no cursing, no fuckboy behavior, he even dresses like a normal person, he ditches the nasty attitude, and just is in general a different person around her

Do you think Kav was in love with Ronan? Otherwise I cannot see the point of his "suicide". I think he decided to die since he felt rejected by Ronan. What do you think about this?

No, I don't think that Kavinsky loved Ronan. But I do think they were gd hot.

it is intentional! and i’ve been waiting to see if someone would notice. needless to say i was super excited to see these tags. his hands are cupped like a catholic’s are during communion. a good portion of this picture revolves around ronan’s religious ties, the hands being one part.
