“Oh hey!” she smiled as she saw the other come through the sliding door into the backyard, before she stepped on one of her dogs squeaky toy. Vivien had been so swamped the last few months with the summer season in full bloom running events every single week. Whether it was a birthday party, anniversary, reunion or wedding, it felt like she hardly had any time to do something for herself. So, she decided with the summer season coming to an end she’d host a dinner party at her place with the friends she made in town thus far. “I was just grabbing some fruit to chop into the fruit salad. How are you doing love?”
Josephine made her way into Vivien’s backyard and announced herself upon arriving. “Hi Vivien,” she smiled. It was still a hot day in the Georgia summer but summer was quickly coming to an end and with that would come the autumn. She was looking forward to the dinner party with Vivien and her friends. “I’m doing really well,” she told the girl. “I’m happier than I’ve been in a long time. And you?” she asked in return. “Do you need me to help you with food or anything? I’m happy to help. Honestly. More than happy.”
