[TV] has to be joyful, effortless, fun. TV defeats its own purpose when it has its own agenda or is trying to defeat other TV or being proud of ashamed of itself for existing. It’s TV. It’s comfort. It’s a friend you’ve known so well, and for so long, you just let it be with you. And it needs to be okay for it to have a bad day, or phone in a day. And it needs to be okay to get on a boat with LeVar Burton and never come back, because eventually, it all will.

I keep getting so unbelievably irritated. Why can't people be reliable? Is it that hard? Am I supposed to read your mind?

In a very weird mood. I'm trying to save for an apartment while also trying to save for all my regular expenses during the summer. All while essentially being jobless until September. I know what I need to do to fix this. I know that when I actually try to fix this, it won't be a problem at all. I just don't want to. I have no motivation. I have no right to complain, and yet here I am complaining. I wish money didn't run my life.
No big deal or anything but CW Seed pretty much uploaded every Whose Line US episode on their site. “All the Drew and Aisha, too” as they put it. You can watch them all for free. You do have to be in the United States to access the site but there are plug ins and proxies around as we all know.
Tvnfthvrfvrfvhtgbygjbuhjhvhgfhgdguufgyffbhubu freaking out a little. This is where I'll be for the next forever.

After traveling up and down New York’s Most Exciting Stairwell, we went up to the third floor to see the Hip Hop exhibit and then down to the basement level to see awesome work completed by pre-teens.

After the Paul Rand exhibit, we came across this little gem—New York’s Most Exciting Stairwell—inside of the Museum of the City of New York. We also found this cool light hanging near their main entry.

New York | Part II—Paul Rand Exhibit
After walking around Central Park and seeing Strawberry Fields with some friends, we walked to the Museum of the City of New York where they had a Paul Rand exhibit titled: “Everything is Design: The Work of Paul Rand.” The following is an excerpt from the museum’s website on the exhibit:

I was in New York City a few weekends ago and took some photos along the way.

Later in the day, I walked around the city and ended up at Grand Central Station.

I had a client leave me hanging for over two months. Two months of no communication even after reaching out multiple times. She finally got back to me last night, and I got back to her this morning. I already have the updates ready, but I’m waiting for her to clarify some additional things. Who has another two months before I hear back? But I thought this was supposed to be a rush job?
Another client was supposed to contact me about a program in mid March. She just got back to me with new information about the project Friday. I had to call my printer to get a quote so that I could give my client a quote. Printer told me he’d get back to me today. I decided to give them a call since it was 4 and I hadn’t heard anything. They said they’d email me. It’s 8 and I haven’t heard back.
My business still owes taxes. I have absolutely no clue whatsoever about how to take care of that because all of the necessary info is three hours away with someone else, who hasn’t talked to me all weekend, so I can’t even speed up the process if I wanted to.
Tomorrow begins the last week of classes before finals week. We’re just finishing up their last (8th) project of the semester. I still have students ask me how to export a PDF. Like am I doing something wrong? Is it me? I’ve gone over how to do this at least eight times before. It hasn’t changed since January.
This semester has by far been the worst semester in terms of quality work and dedicated students. Does anybody care anymore? These kids are going to be absolutely screwed when they get out of school. They have no idea. Just put in some type of effort. Pretend you care. Pay attention. I’ve answered your questions a million times over. Every single week. Write down notes if you forget. I’m so unbelievably frustrated with this semester. I cannot wait for the summer.
And yet, I’m still freaking out about the summer because I have no job lined up. No guaranteed paycheck until September. I have plenty of savings, but I saved that for a reason, and to not work was not one of those reasons.
I’m such a hypocrite too. I know what I need to do to fix that issue. I give advice to other students practically on a daily basis, and here I am essentially ignoring my own advice. And yet I still complain. At least I have one thing going for me right now. She is the absolute best. The best. This summer is going to be wonderful.
Is anyone reliable these days?
