Being deeply into the X-Men skews what you consider a minor character. Like normal people will ask me who my favorite character is and I’ll have the minimum amount of self-awareness to be like “I can’t say Tarot, the student from Emma Frost’s evil team in the 80s who died” but then I look for a better answer and I say “Blink”

I’ve never drawn fire before… or Jean… or Phoenix thingies erm ＿|￣|○ This kinda killed me but X-Men 97 season 2 came out and I decided I’ll finally finish this drawing SOB

I’ve always had it in my mind that Jean looked pretty angelic and I tried to capture that but unsure… huff

I was inspired by 2GHOSTS art and ‘Dark Phoenix’ by James Harren (see under text). Those two artworks have been sitting in my favourites folder for a super duper long time and I finally got to work skdjks

OH and, I am still working on commissions!! This piece took my only 8 hours so it was pretty quick compared to everything else so please do not worry!!
