Little update. Wow the compression rate is horrible.
GunnerBot
Been working on this guy for a couple of days now, still needs a lot more polish and animations, but he is a good example of what we might see in GLITCH.IO
Gamemaker Studio 2 Workspace Background
Bat Weapon [work in progress]
Working on some weapon design, some #WIP attack animation, still have lots to do and polish, but we are moving in the right direction I think
Push block mechanics
Sup everyone, had a little time to code a push block mechanic and gave it a little art, yay to new things!
Glowing Canister
Been revisiting and focusing on improving the art for the little platformer im building. This is still missing a lot of environmental art, but at least I like the way the glow effect is coming along.
Derek gets avatar
reworked the dialog system to give Derek more personality via avatar with moving mouth
Main Menu System
Basic main menu system, still needs art work and title
Reiterate
I have gone back to rewrite a lot of my code, this isnt always a good idea. If it isnt broken, then dont fix it right? Yet it can be difficult not to go back and rework some of your code. As you grow as a developer and learn new techniques and can see several steps ahead and realize that some of your old code is not as efficient or you know that it wont scale well. It is hard to turn and look the other way. As a result I have gone back to the basic platformer and decided that I would enhance, improve, rewrite and build a better foundation that will contribute and enable me to focus more on content and art when the time comes. It looks almost the same as before, but the code running this world is much smoother and reliable.

Networking Guy
We are no longer alone in this world lol. Meet Derek.
Sparks & Debris
Worked on some different enemy states, one in particular is the damaged state which switches animation and vulnerable state so you can really nail that robot
Thinking of composing music for my pixel game. First time ever thinking about this process, still have a lot to learn, but big things have been known to begin with small steps. Someone smart once said, the world is built by people no better than you, just make the first step.
particles!!
Here are some slight particles that randomly generated upon collision with the weapon. Also, a slight image angle tilt based on the dmg inflicted, which is kinda nice as it will scale based on the damage a weapon can deliver. Also, yea damage states have been improved.
