Joseph Headcanons

Nothing too detailed, I can answer more in-depth in asks!

- He has been smoking since he was 8

- His dad unknowingly introduced him to smoking (he found his cigs and mimicked what he saw him doing)

- Shortly after while choking on smoke his powers developed (Accidentally hardened the smoke while it was still in his mouth/lungs, very quickly learned how to control his power, like when you throw a kid into water to teach them to swim.)

- His dad was incarcerated for an unknown crime, life. No parole.

- His secret goal is to change the justice system from punishment to rehabilitation, taking it down from the inside

- Fascinated with Suzuki, that's why he took his case, no one else wanted it because it was so dangerous

- Now, years later, they meet twice a month for Suzukis "socialization time", Josephs suggestion

- Relativly high ranking in his field

- Likes so roleplay as an alcoholic, has copious amounts of expensive liquor that he never drinks, probably inherented from his father

- Mom went on a bender and never came back, or did she... eh doesn't matter he never knew her anyway

- Smokes constantly, one because he's addicted, two it's all he's ever known, and three it's his only defense mechanism
