Is there such a thing as a working mom who’s not flustered all the time? I constantly have a list a mile long of things that need to be done and hardly any time to do it. Since going back to work after my second child I have been so overwhelmed. It has me wondering; where is the work life balance? How do these moms that seem to have it all together do it? I am constantly struggling and I feel like I’m that flustered mom that’s just trying to get by. Mornings are a struggle in and of themselves. Trying to get three people ready is just udder chaos. I’m always late; I forget things and usually head out the door with either some sort of food or booger smeared on me. Nights usually aren’t much better. We rush home to cook dinner, eat, do bath time and get ready for bed. By the time the kids are asleep I’m so exhausted I barely manage to wash my face and hop into bed. Where is the me time? When do I get to wind down and relax from a stressful day? And can we talk for a second about the constant guilt. I have never felt as guilty as I do now since becoming a mother. I feel guilty when I’m at work and not spending enough time with my children. I feel guilty when I have to call into work when my kids are sick. On the weekends when I try to catch up on all the house stuff and errands I neglected during the week I feel guilty that I don’t get to have quality time with my kids. It’s a viscous cycle. We run ourselves ragged trying to take care of everyone else we usually forget to take care of ourselves. Maybe just maybe we should take at least one day a month to just treat ourselves. It just might help get a little bit of our sanity back. #workingmom #parents #momlife #moms #life #kids

Thank goodness there's finally no more pie left! I have very little willpower when it's right at my fingertips which is why I usually don't keep sugary treats in the house. Yay for getting back on track to eating healthy, well at least till christmas.
