When he commented on the absurdity of human consumption of animal milk, I instantly knew that he had simply been attempting to get a rise out of me.
Why don’t humans just drink HUMAN milk?? he demanded.
I kindly pointed out the difficulties of producing and pumping breast milk in large quantities (not to mention the pain--or so I’ve been told), and that no sane female would elect to spend her days in a constant state of lactation. Of course, MALES were always more than welcome to take up the job!
He smiled slyly and corrected me: But MALES can’t produce milk!
I smiled bigger and informed him of the fact that, under extreme circumstances-- such as prolonged starvation and years of ceaseless manual labor--the male body has, in fact, been known to start lactating!
And then I politely offered my services to help him achieve this end, solidifying my point with, Got milk???
#Checkmate, baby!!! xD
He couldn't fight it forever. He climbed the stairs all morning. #momlife #normalizebreastfeeding #breasfeeding #naptime #naptimesuccess #allthesnuggles #momswithtattoos
