An absolute absence of homeless, marginalized or drug dependent persons - in all of Switzerland-, Lucerne, a bustling busy city centre- one quiet person approached us for money- but very discreetly- and quietly walked on- What explains the difference?

Service industry thriving- not the malaise or uninterest work ethic we see in Canada- again what explains the difference in attitude?

Let's see what Italy is like further- the drive here- with many stops- did not show any thing different that the reflections from Italians
