I like this plant, but it’s never flowered. Anyone have pictures of a golden sedum hybrid's flowers?

I like this jade plant, but I don't know what those white spots are/how to get rid of them??? I thought they were mites, and then I read that jade plants can get moldy?

I’m trying to grow herbs this year. I have 2 things of basil, mint, cilantro, and thyme. I also have a pot of spinach, which I think has mites or whatever on it. I have no idea what I’m doing because me + gardening = usually not great.

this is one of my favorite aloes. i REALLY hope that it remains distichous, but i guess i’ll just have to wait and see!

Beautiful! For my followers that don’t know what distichous means, it refers to the way the leaves grow (aka phyllotaxy). Distichous growth means that the plants leaves grow in two opposite directions from the center like this aloe here!

Hi, friends.

Last week, I lost a coworker and friend to suicide. I don’t know the specifics of his condition, but I can only assume he was suffering from some form of depression. No one knew he was sick. If any of my followers are suffering from a mental illness, please seek help.

If you’re contemplating suicide, you can always call the National Suicide Hotline at 1-800-273-8255. You can also talk to your school counselor or family physician.

If you think it’s okay to commit suicide because “no one cares,” here’s a short list of people who will grieve your death:

-your parents -your grandparents -your aunts and uncles -your cousins -your siblings -your nieces and nephews -your coworkers -your friends -your online friends -your high school classmates -your college classmates -your teachers and professors -your partner -coworkers who have quit -coworkers who have moved far away -that kid who had a crush on you in high school -your customers (if you work retail) -the parents of your friends, classmates, and coworkers -the friends of your friends, classmates, and coworkers -your entire school or university

If you need help and don’t know where to start, talk to someone you trust. Mental illness is a disease just like any other illness. A trusted person can direct you towards the proper resources and help you recover.

I worked the school band concert tonight, and they had a memorial set up for him. Off to the side of the stage was his chair, a saxophone, a photo of him, and flowers. We are still mourning his loss.
