An artist's ecstasy

This Saturday I finished my first fully made short film. I am beyond excited to have been able to produce such a work of art with the help of my truly spectacular friends. Additionally I am so so so grateful to be able to be studying film. It is truly the most gratifying thing I may have ever experienced. Meeting other creatives has been so immensely healing and I am the luckiest person, because the fact that I am so close to these brilliant people makes me feel so in awe of the world around me and gives me a new dimension of appreciation for myself. I feel seen, they hear me. It is truly such a profound experience. Especially since my housemates are also such wonderful people who I constantly thank for being in my life. Moving away from my childhood home and into this uni life has made my life blossom into something new and spectacular. A stellar connection has formed between myself and the people around me in such a short time and for that I am eternally grateful. Soon, I will be releasing my short film on my Instagram and on my Youtube, @journeytodrawiii, of course. Usually I would be too nervous to share my filmic creations with the world, seeing as I am on the screen, but I am truly so proud of what I have created and it is my dream to share my art with the world. So, let it be done. Keep your eyes peeled, and wait for Friday, I promise you, the three minutes of your time will be spent well by watching my — very artsy and dreamy — short film "The Rift".
