The famous five are back!
Buckhurst Hill Grammar School in Essex, 1954.
Love the contrast between these two boys. Always seems that boys who wears short trousers wear sandals as well. It could be a uniform rule. A bit archaic but it was with me. I always wore short trousers and was not allowed to wear shoes,only sandals. I was the only one too. All the other boys used to laugh at me, and I got bullied too. It was so humiliating and embarrassing too,
I was the only boy in the top year at primary school with shorts lol
