I've been a fan of Jumalanpelko for a little less than a year (began reading july of last year, reading it thru comicfury), and honestly, I don't have a favorite character. But, still, I relate to Viima a lot. They're def one of the best characters. <3
As someone who is trans (genderfluid) and never got to get out of the closet to my family bc Im surrounded by transphobes, it feels very comfortable and reassuring to see that represented in a piece of media I love so much. To constantly be misgenred by people you live with, because they'll never know who you actually are, and you can't even correct them...thankfully, I have friends who support and understand my identity and who I love so very much. I wish Viima got to feel this kind of love and comfortability in their own life. :(
