hellooo hru!! i hope this is not too personal a question aha but how many books do you usually read in a month? or in a year? seeing as you juggle quite a bit of stuff, like your fic writing, how do u make time to still read books TT it's been a struggle for me ,,,
not at all! it varies but probably like 4-5 a month? I've read 32 books since the year started so i guess it really does depend. also i definitely read more books than feasible for most people because i get to read at work too! i also commute on the subway which is a good 40 min there and back which means i can read more then. whenever i travel anyway i always bring a book! i also read before i go to sleep lol (whether that be fanfic or books)
I started the red winter by Cameron Sullivan...VERY promising start

hi morgan!! i've been trying to get out of my reading slump for years and was just wondering if you have any short books (like under 200/300 pages) you'd recommend? any genre is fine, i trust your taste!!
also, what were some of your top or favorite reads from 2025?
and do you still buy physical books now that you have a kobo? are there any books you feel are must-have physical copies or that you just love having on your shelf? thank you so much and take care :)
hiii friend <3333
ugh i hate to say it but i rarely read short books😭 i have the unfortunate habit of picking longer books BUT i recently read a guardian and a thief and i really liked it!
my top read of 2025 is probably hands down the my brilliant friend series...no other book comes close to how good these books were to me tbh. like truly generational books 😭😭😭😭 but on the commercial side i enjoyed the knight and the moth and slow horses! the emperor of gladness was also so so good.
hm i usually do most of my reading on my kobo but nothing beats holding a book in ur hands! i have a bit too many books rn but i go to the library!!!! love borrowing books from the library!
great advice from an older brother
I’m slowly forgetting your face
INSANITYYYYY
y’all have got to stop recommending aftg to heated rivalry enjoyers unprompted 😭 this is like recommending cocaine to someone who has eaten a pot brownie once
The maesters and the boiling wine had done their work, and his wound was healing cleanly though there would be a deep, puckered scar between his left arm and his nipple. He could not see the wound without thinking of Baelor. He saved me once with his sword, and once with a word even though he was a dead man as he stood there. The world made no sense when a great prince died so a hedge knight might live.

He liked fishing
Have u ever considered that when u gaze upon ur unhinged n egotistical child, a sudden recollection of a sunny day arises, during which the child, in all his innocence, proudly reveals to u the fish he has just caught? It's then that u might once again implore for his salvation?
bad dream?
“When he spooned an extra portion onto Jon's plate and gave him the crusty heel of the bread, he knew what it meant. He knows. He looked around the hall, saw heads turn quickly, eyes politely averted. They all know.”
