Long Room at Trinity College Considered one of the most beautiful libraries in the world, the ceiling is a striking 213 foot vaulted chamber, making it hard to photograph, as a tourist. The library houses the Book of Kells as well as thousands of rare books. Derrynane Beach on the Ring of Kerry, Ireland Derrynane Beach in Kerry is said to be one of the best beaches in Ireland. Though it was a foggy and overcast day, this beach was indeed spectacular! Torc Waterfall, which means "cascade of the wild boar", apparently. It was our first stop on the Ring of Kerry. The Cliffs of Moher, by sea and by land I saw the cliffs in 1990 and there were maybe a dozen people there. This visit, 30 years later, we joined about a million people, so crowded! In my opinion, Titou Gorge is the top "must see" of Dominica! To get to this underground waterfall, you must first swim a short distance through a series of natural "rooms and ponds" formed by high cliff walls canopied by rainforest trees that just barely let sunlight through. This deep, narrow gorge that you swim through was formed as molten lava cooled and split apart. These photos show the waterfall at the end of the swim, as well as the view looking back the way we swam in.
