Boast in the Lord
Thank God for what he has done in us and for us.
We can’t live our lives conformed to man’s wisdom and strength. The Apostle Paul says that God’s foolishness is wiser than our wisdom and His weakness is stronger than our strength. Yet our pride and self-satisfaction always gets in the way of us seeing the fact that we are nothing more than a mere creation of one who truly is powerful. God is the one who made the heavens and the Earth. We are surrounded by God’s beauty in Art, Music, and Story, still
“…No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him”. 1 Corinthians 2:9
Paul tells us for those who have received the Holy Spirit, all things will be revealed. Without the Spirt of God we won’t be able to understand God. We won’t be able to realize that He wants us to worship him so that He can Bless us and that he wants to live within us so that we may have a closer relationship with Him; our Creator, our God, our Father. For this reason Paul tells us we are “God’s Temple”.
“If anyone destroys God’s Temple, God will destroy him; For God’s temple is sacred, and you are that temple”. 1 Corinthians 3:17
God takes care of us in every way. We leave him to deal with the vengeance, the anger, the hatred, and anything else that can get bottled up inside us. We give him our problems and we give him our heart/lives and in return he blesses in a way only God can.
Why should we boast about ourselves, if are actions don’t even come close to what God can do? If it is only when God is in us when we do truly great things..
Boast about God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirt… not yourself
Its alright to brag about God :)

Mountaineering the Scottish Highlands with @ruairidhmcglynn
To view more photos and videos from Ruairidh’s mountaineering explorations of the Highlands, follow @ruairidhmcglynn on Instagram.
"In early 2013, my brother asked me if I’d like to climb a Munro in Scotland called Schiehallion (which is famous for its distinct conical shape). I took my brother up on his offer,” says Edinburgh Instagrammer Ruairidh McGlynn (@ruairidhmcglynn), of his first mountaineering experiences in the Scottish Highlands. “At 6:00AM on a typically dreich (dull and miserable) day in January, we embarked upon the journey from Edinburgh. The summit was shrouded in cloud so there was disappointment from the seasoned veterans over the lack of view. But to me that didn’t matter because it was about this great journey and story that I’d just captured. From that moment on, I was hooked.”
Ruairidh posted an image from that trip to Instagram. Now, having invested in proper equipment and conquering 40 of the 282 of Scotland’s Munros (mountains of more than 3,000 feet or 914.4 meters), he pushes himself to capture each journey to share it with others. “Instagram is the perfect tool that allows me to convey to others the beauty of the mountains,” he explains, “the journeys that I go on and the things that you can achieve when you put your mind to it. I hope to inspire people to appreciate the outdoors and to embark upon similar adventures (responsibly and safely).”
As for photo tips to share, Ruairidh adds, “Where possible, I always like to include people to give a sense of scale and adventure balanced with dramatic weather and light, which more often than not is never far away in Scotland.”
Beautiful pics!!

music isn't an end in itself but rather a means of expressing the worship already present in our hearts through the new life we've received in Jesus Christ.
Bob Kauflin
1 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing. 4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. 11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. 12 Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. 13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
1 Corinthians 13:1-13 (NIV)
