Been a busy week for me but I ended up hitting up the dollar store and finding this lovely brown papered sketchbook and #staedtler HB2 pencils. Been having a blast drawing skulls and stuff in it. Gives my drawings an old medevil times asethetic 😌 Also! Drew this awhile back but recently started shading it and outlining it in pen

So I have this random stack of shit on my desk and I slowly started to notice how each book represented me as layer, right down to my core.

From top to bottom:

-1st Layer my phone (such a thin flimsy layer, literally I just use it to troll and keep up with the internet times of our generation (p.s shameless self-promoting, I stream games cause shit yeah @www.twitch.tv/rspcharm))

- 2nd Layer (yoga and 3rd is also yoga and meditation and shit 👌 good shit.)

- 3rd Layer, refer to ^

- 4th Layer wreck this journal because you can’t wreck people IRL without consequences.

- 5th Layer battleship. Aliens and sonar and guns. Nuff said.

- 6th Layer Ferris buellers day off…. What can I say? Its a pure classic, a tale told till the end of time. It literally captured the fuck out of me and I secretly wish I grew up in that time era lol.

- 7th Layer, okay so this is literally a bunch of random shit I didn’t want to throw out for some reason. Must have to do with a cleaning error or something …. Idk… Whatever so that’s the 7th layer. Sorry it wasn’t more exciting folks.

- 8th and most final layer, my fucking core people. Harry Potter and the Philosophers philosophy of sex. Perfect. Question everything.

So it’s been awhile since I’ve posted anything on here so here’s one of my latest pieces. I participated in a competition which had me come up with this ‘The underground dweller’ :p

This is an old, worn down, creepy mannequin warehouse that I'm working on, it's currently empty but I'm applying props and maybe some particle effects to give it the ultimate creepy, creeperson feel.

It's rendered in UDK I'm still debating if I want to keep the lighting that's coming through the windows as I wasn't able to get the alpha for the windows to work properly but maybe I can work some magic and get it to work. Ill upload more renders when it's completed.

This is another assignment I did based off a hallway concept for the game Deus Ex. It's also missing some items but those can all be added at another time. For now I'll upload it so I have something to look back on (':

This is my Nautilus model I did for my asset class, it's not at the quality I want it at but I figured I'd upload it anyways in hopes I revise it in the future lol. Regardless here it is with references for what I was going for.

Both rocks & ship were built in 3Ds Max

Rocks were modified in ZBrush

Everything was textured in Photoshop CS6 with 1024px maps

She's still a work in progress, but so far this is my end result from my first semester sculpting class. We are required to sculpt a human mesh, then clothing and whatever other accessories are on the reference we were given. I'm not going to release the amount of polys she is as that might increase since she is unfinished but better renders will be updated with the poly count when she is fully geared, painted and textured. So stay tuned :) !
