What is PARALLELS? // Synopsis
Like many other fans of the 2018 bullet hell Just Shapes and Beats, I have created my own AU, which takes place after the events of the game.
The main events of the story mode of JSaB are very cut-and-dry; there's good guys and bad guys, the former defeating the latter in the end. In PARALLELS, these two sides are referred to as the Heroes (who are considered to be pure), and the Corruption respectively.
The story of PARALLELS follows a young hexagon, Zero. However, he's not pure, nor is he corrupted; A Hybrid. Physically stronger than the average shape, the boy has caught the attention of the Heroes of the world, as well as the Corruption.
After the main events of the game, the Corruption has unfortunately tried to infect the world yet again, causing another war to break out.
Zero must find his way in the world and regain his memory of who he is and where he came from, while simultaneously avoiding being taken advantage of by the two sides of this war.
