When are we the most happy? We are the most happy if we have found love! It doesn’t matter who you are, where you come from or what happened in the past. Everybody, even the most dangerous terrorist is looking for love, peace and compassion. To be understood. It is a pity that the people are so busy ‘not loving’ and ‘spreading hate’ rather than finding things to appreciate and people to love. Prince Ea once said ‘We live our lives wanting what we don’t have and having what we don’t want. What if we turned it around? And didn’t want what we didn’t have and wanted and appreciated what we do?’ I found out, that if I love more, that if I smile more and that if I relive my good memories that I appreciate the little things more. My heart might have been broken a few times, but they thought me good lessons. I might not have the job I want, but I do have a job. I might not have somebody to share everything with, but I have a lot of friends to share a lot with.
I may not have found the right love in my life but the right person will always come along. That one that gives little butterflies to your stomach. The one with whom you can always be yourself. The one with whom you don’t have to be afraid of what of you feel. The one with whom you can always feel safe. The one who will always support your crazy goals but who will also protect you from harm. The one that doesn’t need to ask how you are feeling, but immediately sees. The one who will always be there for you. The one that is most kind and humble. The one that is the most beautiful when the sun shines on her pretty face. With her by your side you feel like a king. Imperfectly perfect is the partner in crime. Because in your eyes the flaws won’t matter. They are only more reasons to love. It shows the strength of a relationship; two people who have found each other, bound by a connection, to share each other’s joy and each other’s most happy moments together.
I still believe in to find a true love, to find someone who it will always be worth suffering for. Because there will be times you despise your partner, and if you had a pointy object, you knew what to do with it. But in those moments it is most important to be better instead of bitter. If you are always honest, if you are open about your feelings, if you show your partner your true face, if you always respect each other feelings, then you will have the most strongest relationship. We cannot choose our emotions and our feelings, but we can share them and show care for the feelings of others.
Sometimes we can’t always understand, but we can show that we care, listen to the story, offer a shoulder to cry on, lend out a hand, empathise with the greatest care and most of all never judge the other person. If you were put in their shoes, lived their lives, got brought up by their ways of the world, if you had seen everything they had seen. You might have acted in the same way. This applies as much to your partner, as well as family, friends or even strangers. Try not to judge, try not to get yourself involved in there trouble, but ask what you can do to make them feel better. Ask what you can do to help? Love the most little things in live, try to be as positive as possible. Make people Laugh. Be overwhelming enthusiastic to the cashier at the supermarket who has had grumpy customers all day! Call your grandmother just to ask what she is going to have for dinner tonight! Thank your friends, just for being your friends and see them smile! Invite your best friend over for dinner! Especially don’t hate, don’t forget the people around you, the people whose story we don’t know. Don’t just walk by and ignore the homeless junkie on the street, look him in the eyes and give him a friendly smile. Don’t stop being to God Damn busy that we lose our ability to care, for everyone.
Change only starts with myself, as a society we have incredibly failed already. We have lost trust, people look unhappy, we are a society build on work, shame and money. Being part of the cool kids is more important than loving the world. What can I do? Start to be myself more, keep inspiring myself not to get angry. To be better instead of bitter. To start spreading love and to always be kind for it will be repaid hundredfold. Don’t push others to do good, but educate them to do something meaningful to make themselves and others more beautiful and happy people. Let the world smile.
