Will be sharing some of my photos about coffee and travels in this account. Probably to remind myself that I am treading through the borderline of coffee addiction.

Today, I stayed at another friends' coffee shop to help them practice for their upcoming competition.

Also tried and practiced with one of their sponsor, a hydrophobic filter paper. It elevated the aroma and texture of the coffee they brewed. The mouthfeel is not heavy but it has that oily and silky smooth texture. A surprisingly good experience.

I'm really happy for my friends. They have officially reopened after a successful expansion.

Last Sunday, I've decided to to finally try Dragon Crest Mountain, locally known as Khao Ngon Nak. It is one of those hikes that tricks you with how peaceful it looks on Google. You start off thinking it's going to be a chill nature walk. It's about 3.7km one way, and while that doesn't sound like much, my legs felt every step.

The further you climb, the quieter it gets. The sounds of people and traffic are replaced by the wind and the occasional sounds from birds and insects.

Whoever said this hike was "moderate", I'll find you... Every few meters, I kept on asking myself, how much do I really want to see the view.

Halfway up, I ended up tagging along with a really friendly tour group. The gif is just one of the preview spots where the view starts peeking through.

This view is something else. You can see Ao Nang Beach, Nopparat Thara Beach, tiny islands, and half of the coastline. The picture barely does it justice.

10/10 would do it again.

I tried an Iced Americano using Mae Jan Tai COE rank 6 coffee beans from Chiang Rai. It has that fruity taste notes, with a mild acidity and sweet aftertaste.

A hidden café that is popular with the locals.

Took this photo a few weeks ago and forgot to post about it. I've been too caught up with work while spending more time with my friends during the weekend.

Of all the slow bars and coffee shops that I've visited, he is the second barista who doesn't use a scale when brewing pour over coffee. He told me that he gauge the smell and color of the coffee beans to see if it's done and ready.

Iced Pour Over coffee with Double Anaerobic x Washed Processed coffee beans. It has a very strong orange taste note because of the fermentation process used. An interesting drink if you enjoy fruity overtones.

Hi! Thank you! I am glad at nagugustuhan mo mga posts ko. Ako din gusto ko yung mga ko nitong year dahil mas madalas na ako nakakapag-picture. Nakahiligan ko na din talaga mag-try ng iba't ibang coffee beans kasi ang interesting din malasahan mga iba't ibang taste notes na meron sila. Nag-eenjoy din ako manood kung paano sila magbrew lalo na kapag pour over or manual espresso machine ang gamit. Ganda lang din talaga ng slow bar concept. Maraming salamat ulit! Whenever I go out with Thai friends, we always end up closing the bar. Last night was fun and had a great time.

I knew I had to come back after last Friday's drinking session. I need to experience the place solo and just savor the taste of the beer and the atmosphere.

It was a great decision because I was able to take this shot.

The owner of the cafe, which I've been visiting for a few Sundays now, said that he doesn't offer pour overs because he is afraid that with his brewing skills, the customers might not like it. He usually do pour overs for himself and friends. However, last Sunday he made one for me. Ha! I've just gained a new friend.

Met new people and found another place to hangout in the evening.

Tried a new cafe today from the recommendations of some friends.

Has an indoor and outdoor seating with comfortable seats and appropriate table height.

Surprisingly, they have my favorite coffee blend from a roastery in Bangkok. I immediately ordered an Iced Americano.

Trying this new coffee shop is worth it.
