Guilty-pleasure. ( dnf )
George was always distant with his feelings, he kept them to himself and preferred not to be vulnerable, especially around Dream. he didn’t want to be seen as naïve, weak or pathetic.Â
Dream on the other hand was open-minded, he had no problem expressing his feelings, he was always so honest, bright and strong. They were total opposites but it never stopped them from openly admiring and secretly admiring one another.
George would play ‘Jenny’ on repeat, spending late nights in bed thinking about Dream, how he made him feel, how he made him blush, how his smile he only saw once flashed in his mind everyday and made a smile crawl on his own face. The light freckles that splashed across Dream’s face was obvious, though he only got a glimpse of them when Dream was meanly teasing him with a face reveal. George got high off the scorching feeling Dream would give him, the butterflies becoming an overwhelming sensation in his stomach yet he loved it, every bit of it, it was an addiction he was okay with
though he’d never tell.Â
Dream on the other hand, he’d spend his nights or well, afternoons trying to get George to talk to him for just a little while, searching up things to talk about whether it was about the UK news or ‘video ideas’ he just wanted an excuse to talk with George if not, he’d sit in his chair listening to ‘Can I call you tonight’ while scrolling through his screenshots of George. his favourite photos were always ones wearing his merch or genuinely smiling, Dream told George what he’d spend his nights doing, causing George to blush, smile and tell him to shut up.
it was sorta cliche in the books... how’d they’d each spend their nights if they weren’t talking, reminiscing and listening to songs that reminded them of each other.
Yet only one of them were honest about it. his guilty-pleasure.Â
