Max then throws that cartoon bomb at the store and it explodes and kills everyone inside of it.
This is for Jucqlo ! [For whatever reason it will not let me tag them. So I hope that they see this]
Thank you for the request ^
Why does he dress like this if he is just gonna wear a uniform over it?
Reference.
Tried using sharpie to make the black on black details stand out a bit more. Also red pen.
Sameth and Maximus in the can of nuts
I always felt as it can of nuts was the best ability in the game. Was sad they didn't bring it back. I kinda love how these two sort of imply there's some sort of reincarnation thing going on. His hat is in there too, I just couldn't find room to draw it.
So Sam and Max: the devils playhouse, guy has psychic powers that are activated by items. These powers include: Mind reading, and Teleportation. A humanoid alien also wants these powers so he can use them to take over the world. Hold on... Wait a second here... Why does is sound so familiar?
It couldn't be... could it?
So Happy!

Had to use my own hand for reference on cause this panel didn't have a second one. Think it looks alright though.
Not gonna lie, the thing I love the most about Seto Kaiba is that he is quite possibly one of the most unintentionally hilarious characters of all time.
Like I'm not even talking some of those great dub lines (I've watched both dub and sub), but just his entire existence in the franchise is hilarious because of who he is and the dynamic he adds to basically everything just by existing. He's just so damn funny.
autistic orphan cheats a rich asshole ceo into adopting more kids than he intended to. usurps this dude's company so brutally that the ceo just throws himself off of a building. proceeds to hard pivot from weapon manufacturing to children's entertainment. his first major venture is a theme park centered around slaughtering one specific guy he hates. 10,000 people in the audience watch him get his brain shattered into bits as punishment for his hubris. this fails to fix him, it only makes him slightly less murderous and significantly more socially inept. he doesn't give a shit about magic and friendship because science can do the same thing and is much more cost effective in his eyes because there is nothing more bankrupt than having to admit that you like someone. his flat out refusal to believe in ghosts makes him impervious to being possessed. his favorite ghost relocates to the afterlife and he launches himself into the fucking sun to chase after him, leaving his multibillion yen company in the trustworthy hands of a middle schooler. ladies and gentlemen, i present to you, Seto Kaiba
You know when you play a game as a child and then you play it again at 14 then 18 then 23 yeah Sam and Max have taken over my brain again someone call the freelance police!!!
Trying to recommend people watch Yu-gi-oh is always an insane pitching experience because the basic premise, what the show's about, and the actual meat-and-potatoes plot mechanics are all extremely different from one another.
The premise for DM is that some kid has an amnesiac ancient egyptian ghost haunting him and various billionaires are going to try to divest him of his jewellery. What DM is about is platonic devotion, staying true to your friends, the all encompassing power of love, and the eventual burden of moving on from death. This entire thing is painted in the aesthetics of 90's punk and visual kei.
The premise for GX is a kid attends card game high school and goes on wacky adventures. What GX is about is growing up, about seeing the world get more and more dark as you get older until you don't think you are the same person anymore, and having to hold onto the things that make you you. The later seasons draw heavy inspiration from lovecraftian cosmic horror.
The premise for 5Ds is a street punk has to team up with new friends and old enemies to fight on behalf of ancient south american space gods. What 5Ds is about is classism, and tools of oppression in a hi-tech futuristic society that is literally powered by magic. The visual language ping pongs between classic cyberpunk grunge and ultra sleek hypermodern.
The premise for Zexal is a different kid with a different amnesiac ghost that lives inside his necklace team up to find his memories. What Zexal is about is human connection, about reaching out a hand into the dark, about not being alone, and the pointlessness of war. This entire thing is themed with elements of the christian bible.
The premise for Arc-V is a theatre kid who travels the worlds spreading cheer and smiles with his circus performances. What Arc-V is about is child soldiers, and indoctrination into the military industrial complex, and the emotional dissonance that forms between events of trauma and day-to-day survival. One of the characters is inexplicably a traditional japanese shinobi.
The premise for VRAINS is a depressed highschooler cybercrime-ing his way through the internet so he can find answers to why he was kidnapped and tortured when he was 8. What VRAINS is about is the future of corporate greed, about healing, about what makes a consciousness, and the poisoning power of hate. A solid 50% of the story is just really good goofs on modern internet culture.
But if you just throw on a random episode of any one of those, the actual construction of any given one are going to be pretty much the same: It's all Card Games babeeeey

I believe this is my favorite character.
And suddenly, there was a hand in his hair. It was an unceremonious motion. It wasn't in the dark. He had been at the desk in his room, his best friend standing beside him as he showed him his newest little trinket. A tiny figure for a small, niche collectables series. More often than not, Yugi heavily disliked--to say the least--when people pat his head or rest their hands on his hair. Most always feels like he's being mad fun of. Of course, currently it was different. Currently, his best friend was the one who's hand was planted in his hair. His best friends big, scar littered and somewhat rough hand now running through the strands. Yugi sat a little straighter, lightly tiling his head into Joey's touch as the blonde chuckled. "Shit, Yuugs, hadn't realized yer hair'd be so soft." Had been the words that left the tallers lips, a smile in his voice. They were words that made Yugi more than glad he actually took the time to wash his hair for the first time in a while. He had been bored, he wasn't tired and he wasn't in the mood for any of his handhelds. He wasn't in the mood for TV and preferred his music far too loud for what time it was, so he dragged himself to the bathroom, washed the makeup off his face and washed his hair. Never in Yugi's life did he think he'd be grateful for past boredom but of course there's a first time for everything. A content sigh escaped him as he leaned further into Joey's touch. Oh, Yugi wished they were on his bed so he could be closer. This just wasn't enough. And the moment he felt blunt nails lightly scratch at his scalp, Yugi knew he was a goner. It felt good. More than 'good'. Amazing. Wonderful. It was a high he now felt the need to chase. Deep down Yugi knows it isn't just the physical feeling that's got him feeling so drunk. It's the attention. The affection. Distantly, Yugi wondered if it felt like this for Joey too whenever Yugi's got his own hands in the teens hair, petting and scritching away. He hopes so. Because this. If anyone was most deserving of a feeling like this it'd without a singular doubt be Joey Wheeler. In all honesty, Yugi wasn't even trying to at least catch every other word the other teen was saying, lost in the feeling of his hands in his hair and against his scalp. Anyone else. Anyone else it'd be degrading (and not in the heart pounding way). But with Joey? God. Somehow he both feels like he's nothing (in a good way, something he had no idea was possible) and someone. And suddenly, there was an arm around his neck as Joey puts him into a--playful--headlock. It snaps Yugi out of. Whatever that had been. His hands fly to grasp at Joey's sleeves as he gleefully shrieks the blondes name. The moment left as soon as it came, the filling the once mostly silent room with loud laughter and banter.
