almost every scene frank has is in really poor lighting which makes it annoyingly difficult to icon dfjsodifa

not the time to take petty offense ,  but somewhere in the back of his mind he makes mental note to remember condescension .    â vigilante is a strong word . â    and precisely the one he uses  â  but not to other people , suddenly sounds so real and ridiculous coming out of someone elseâs mouth .  heâs still not entirely comfortable with new lifestyle , but delinquency is a work in progress .    â what are you ? â    afraid response will be what  â new â  suggests  â  and heâs walking right into unwelcome comparison .
Thereâs few words that fit better than vigilante. Most of the Hellâs Kitchen has dubbed him a criminal. In the end, he didnât give a shit about titles. He gave a shit about doing something.  Cocking the gun, he turned his attention back to the target, setting up the sniper rifle on the edge of the building.  â Iâm a man who gets shit done. Nothinâ else, nothinâ more. â  It was clear by the look of things that he intended to do just that tonight, regardless of the otherâs interference.  â Like I said, I have this under control. I think you should leave before things get messy. â
Bonnie Tyler  {Sentence Starters}
âI need a hero.â
âWhere were you?â
âYouâre driving me wild.â
âYouâre too good to last.â
âI donât want you seeing me cry.â
âGot a feeling and it just ainât right.â
âI told you everything I possibly can.â
âCall me what you like, but Iâm a fool.â
âYouâve got a lot to learn about loyalty.â
âI canât help if the world is going crazy.â
âYouâve got nothing but fear in your eyes.â
âSomethingâs gone wrong, canât you see?â
âLove songs last longer than lovers ever do.â
âIf you want to leave, I wonât beg you to stay.â
âJust walk out that door⊠Yeah, see if I care.â
âYou couldnât tell right from wrong if you tried.â
âGotta be careful when youâre taking a chance.â
âI was a fool to think that youâd be there for me.â
âIâm holding out for a hero âtil the end of the night.â
âThereâs a tiny piece of me that feels sorry for you.â
âYouâre running from it all⊠so you better run, now.â
âDo you really think youâve got a ghost of a chance?â
âIf I sing you a love song, will you always remember?â
âI canât lie⊠I canât tell you that Iâm something Iâm not.â
âItâs gonna take a superman to sweep me off my feet.â
âThis is gonna break just like every promise that you make.â
âWhere have all the good men gone and where are all the gods?â
âI would swear that thereâs someone somewhere⊠watching me.â
âI donât usually talk about my feelings⊠but, with you, thereâs such a lot I want to say.â
âBut, since you donât have an honest bone in your body, and you canât seem to tell the truth⊠Iâm gonna have to do it for you.â
deflowrd:
ââŠUh, yeah. Good to know. I mean⊠I figured. Some dogs are like that, I guess.â She responds - clearly, this man has a rather good hold on his pet, and honestly? That was probably for the best. Especially given that the way he spoke seemed a bit⊠calm. Controlled.
Somehow, zen. Even if that was her own interpretation of the events at hand rather than their actual reality. Funny how life worked like that.
Spinning itâs magical little threads.
âItâs all good, though. Sheâs kind of cute, even if she looks like she kind of wants to eat my face off. Anyway, I think this is for you. Seems like itâs the right address, anyways.â
â Yeah, sheâs got that look about her. â  Maybe they both had that â eat your face off â look. Frank always assumed his was more of a â shoot your face off â look, but who knows? Maybe if he bought her a pink collar sheâd look a little less threatening. He hasnât gotten around to buying any accessories -- most of what he salvaged was from the fighting pit he found her in.               Glancing down at the item she held, he grunted, eyes flickering to the apartment number. Well, shit -- it was the right address. He had intended to lay low, meaning nobody should have his address. So much for that.  â Didnât order anything. Donât want whatever it is. Take it for yourself, Iâm sure itâs something great. â  Frank hesitates, taking into account his reputation. It could very well be a bomb, or a severed body part, or anything unpleasant to the human eye. Something the stranger clearly didnât deserve.  â Fine. Do I gotta sign for it? â
       ( @devotedecay wanted a small starter. )
â Donât tell me youâre some kind of new vigilante. â  Man, that really catches on, doesnât it? As if Daredevil and New Yorkâs seemingly endless supply of self-righteous bastards werenât troublesome enough. There was only so much room in a city for those who take justice into their own hands, lest the town be drenched in blood. Loading another round of ammo into his gun, he glances up at the other.  â Or maybe youâre just some criminal running around in a funny mask. Either way, I have this under control. â
Heâs cominâ. Heâs cominâ to collect.
sunfrom:
@judgementledâ
âyour forehead isââŠ. cut.â sheâs digging into her bookbag for something now, pulling out a pack of small tissues. holds them out, cranes her head to look up at the other. âi donât have like.. anti-infectant or anything. iâm not a n-n-n-n-.. sorry. nurse. are you â.. okay?â
â Itâs not an issue. â  Heâs quick to respond, a hand going up to wipe the blood from his brow. The sniper hadnât even noticed the injury yet, his mind accustomed to ignoring the small cuts and bruises which encompassed his body. â Iâm fine. Probably just ran into something. Itâs been a long day. â
dollsdecay:
â itâs alright ; the guys around here know me, anyway. â nonchalant in her response, mindlessly playing with her blonde hair. she appears slightly miffed at the use of the word kid.
â not that iâm involved with all that gang nonsense, and shit. my family just knows a couplea guys and whatnot. concern was sweet though â you donât see much of that âround here. â
To him, her attitude towards the situation only strengthens his perception that sheâs just a kid. One gal trying to be just a bit too big for her britches.  â Family ties donât mean nothinâ in the middle of a gunfight. Bullets from a bad aim donât know friend from foe. â             His tone of voice is oddly calm, though his voice is deep and rough. When his daughter was young sheâd lower her voice about ten octaves trying to replicate his -- itâs an odd sensation to remember things like that. He shakes it off, focusing back on the task at hand. â So unless youâve got some secret bullet proof vest on, you should leave. â
       ( @deflowrd  wanted a small starter. )
â Sorry -- she hasnât had the best relationship with strangers. â  Gently, he tugs the pitbull back to his side. With a few gentle strokes of the head, the dog is content, though she continues to eye the stranger warily.  â Not violent, though. Not anymore. â
        ( @dollsdecay wanted a small starter. )
â It ainât safe here, kid. I heard this is gang territory. â  The pistol in his jacket kept him safe ( and on task ) but she didnât look like a fighter. Hell knows he wonât let some innocent kid get stuck in the crossfires of justice.  â You need to leave. â
        ( @hellsdcvil wanted a small starter. )
â Cut the crap, Red. You sound like a damn fool, â  Frank scoffed, brows furrowed in disapproval. He doesnât seem annoyed, almost as if heâs grown accustomed to hearing this self-righteous vigilante bullshit  â I have a feeling thisâll go smoother for the both of us if you quit it with the fancy words and say what you need to say. âÂ
