After having their Moment™️ together in the hotel gym, Shane immediately starts thinking about how he's overdue to break up with his girlfriend

These two guys were actual children when they met. 17–18 years old is very young. Imagine everything they had on their plate plates? Working full-time at a physical and emotional draining sport. Being constantly surrounded by much older men, some with toxic masculinity behaviors. Expecting to do sponsorships, commercials, awards, banquets, and charity events, etc..

 we see them basically living on their own, and trying to invest their money and use their success for their retirement, which generally comes earlier than other professions.

Isn’t it funny how life imitates art? Hudson and Connor are going through a similar situation. Two young men who were unknown and suddenly thrown into a huge glaring spotlight. Overwhelming look at all the publicity, runways, awards, sponsorships coming, and now the Olympics imagine how stressful and exhausted they might must be.
